What do you think about Gamer Luna?
We believe such a thing could be quite enjoyable were it in appropriate hooves!
Clearly it is not.
We seldom have time for these games in between our royal duties. And we certainly would not participate in them in the manner shown by that blog. The gamer community is a most vile collection of oppressors, much as Bronies have proven themselves to be. To put the two together, and from one who would make a mockery of something as serious as rape using my sister, her subjects, and even myself, as this JJ has. What could one truly expect from such a venture but disgusting humor which further degrades our self, our subjects, and the hobby?
We certainly have no wish to have our image appropriated to further disgusting stereotypes of rude behavior, sexist speech, and stereotypes of our gender within that community. To have our image taken and twisted into some ideal of what a “gamer girl” could be when they can not respect the real ones is disrespectful. Which is all one could really expect from the current creators. I would gladly wish to give any game a try, but certainly not with any of them.
The face of video gaming surely does not need to be further marred by the same people who would make light of rape and molestation. Nor does the image of any citizen or Equestria.
Let a higher caliber of person write something better. I would certainly lend myself to improving the image and respectability of gaming as a hobby were someone to do it right.
What are your thoughts about people who worship you and treat Celestia like she's the devil?
It was similar behavior in the reverse that led to our becoming Nightmare Moon. To embrace the beauty of the Day or Night while shunning the other is to limit one’s understanding and enjoyment of the world around them.
My night may blanket the sky in a sea of glorious stars, and give gentle moonlight to the reflective surface of tranquil waters. It brings forth a bounty of life that steps not into the light of the sun. My bats can see through sounds as they glide without light, my wolves show a closeness of true family, and my insects play a symphony throughout the wilderness.
Yet my night brings not the warmth of my sister’s sun, the light that bathes and feeds the plants that blanket our kingdom. Nor does it burst in a beauteous rainbow of colors. Its animals seldom cute, or cuddly.
To embrace one yet shun the other, a dangerous mindset to have. To rank or compare worth from differences so that one may be risen above another is a path to destruction. Differences should be embraced in anything, doing so allows us to grow, to learn, and to see the world in ways we never imagined possible.
Princess, its hard to tell my family a feminist. My brother and my dad just don't get it. They think it means I hate men and that they're inferior and junk. I've been trying to correct them, but its not getting through. Any ideas?
Personally we would invade their sleep with nightmares for their insolence and disrespect, but we are unsure of what you are capable of.
If you have made several attempts to explain it to them, and correct their misunderstandings yet it is “not getting through” as you say then there may be little you can do. If they refuse to learn, to admit that perhaps they do not know everything about the subject, then their minds will not be open to change no matter how many times you correct them.
We would continue to try, and let them hear the words as well as see the actions. And perhaps they will not be able to ignore the truth forever. They may, however, also become defensive, holding on to their own understanding of the world for personal comfort much like a cornered animal would become most violent.
Sadly, for many men, to understand why feminism is needed they need to associate the oppressive treatment of women to their own personal feelings. Usually by understanding how it relates to them through loved ones, a mother, sister, or daughter for example. Perhaps you can show them how feminism can and has helped you, while preparing to counter any arguments they attempt to show feminism has hurt men by proving the real source of their troubles is the same Patriarchy you yourself fight against.

Hi Luna! What are some of your favourite pony blogs?
Sadly many we enjoyed disappeared, as they found themselves needing to distance from the world of ponies with the fandom’s recent behaviors in the past few years.
However there are still several we happily enjoy.
http://lifeloser.tumblr.com/ Has such adorable artwork!
http://justplumsweet.tumblr.com/ Has made us laugh on many an occasion, though unfortunately it isn’t updated often, if at all now. The creator also seems a wonderful person however.
http://myponynews.tumblr.com/ Has been of such use to us for keeping up with all the lovely merchandise being made.
http://irlponies.tumblr.com/ An adorable blog of tiny ponies exploring the world.
Both http://g1mlp.tumblr.com/ and http://g3mlp.tumblr.com/ have been great for better understanding our long and beautiful history!
http://meowmeowparadise.tumblr.com/ Such a wonderful person, and talented artist. We have listened to her music as we worked through many nights.
so we've heard your sister's opinion of the molestia fiasco; what's your view on it and the dudebros whining about losing their rapist pony blog?
They are one of the lowest forms of civility within any society. Humor at the expense of others, even if indirect, is truly low.
Truly there is something sad if one derives such entertainment from jokes about unwanted physical contact. And to use my sister, and her dear subjects and friends, and even myself, to perpetuate this vileness is disgusting.
There is nothing funny about women being molested or raped, then blamed for the actions of another disgusting individual’s vile choices, or being told deep down they wanted it to happen.
There is nothing funny about men not being taken seriously when they are molested or raped, because people tell them they should be happy they were so lucky, or that it can’t really happen to them.
There is certainly nothing funny about making jokes that only serve to help perpetuate these terrible treatments of victims.
There are so many ways to find amusement in the world that do not come at the expense of others, there is no excuse for such vile behavior.
Their treatment of others because they can’t handle not being the only people able to exercise freedom of speech shows them all for what they truly are.
I hope shutting down that awful rapist blog is only the beginning. They’ve been allowed to ruin the good name of Equestria and fans of My Little Pony for far too long. Back to the holes they crawled out from. Let them finally understand they are not hated or despised because of their hobbies or interests, but because they are terrible people.
In the meantime we will enjoy their tears from within their pitiful dreams. And if we see them we might do what we did when we first met that homophobe Chuck Norris.
ahhh i love all these feminist pony blogs that are being made thank You for making this
We are glad to hear it! And you are most welcome. We hope to see many others joining us as well.
When you returned after your long stay on the moon, did you notice any large differences in social equality from before you left?
Oh my yes! The feeling of seeing ponies of all kinds working together in such harmony to keep our world in such beautiful shape has kept me warm on many of our coldest nights. Though an end is usually also a beginning, and we fear we have much work left to do regarding our non pony friends.
Welcome, your highness! I am glad to see you joining in the fight alongside your sister. Together, you two will be a force to be reckoned with. Will you be specializing in any particular areas or categories of feminism (and, by extension, other SJ movements), or shall I consider you a go-to feminist in general?
Thank you for your welcoming! While we hope to touch on many different aspects of social justice, our primary knowledge rests within the realm of feminism and trans feminism!
What do you think of gay people?
Some of our most favorite people in all of both worlds! We were saddened and disgusted to see how such ponies people are treated here, but we are so proud to see what incredibly loving families they have made despite such cruel and unjust treatments!
We would love to enjoy more of this world’s literature with homosexual couples within it! That such normal and healthy lives would be so underrepresented in your tales baffles us.
Greetings, friends!
Goodness, I do hope I’m not late! Hello, everypony, it’s me, Princess Mi Amore Cadenza, though that is a mouthful and I honestly don’t care much for it, so you can call me Cadance or Cady. I’ve decided to join my wonderful aunts in their quest to answer questions as best as we can. My perspective is a little different from theirs, as a younger married pony, but I will still try to speak as honestly and plainly as I can, just as they do. My ask box is open, so feel free to submit any questions you might have!
Another feminist alicorn has joined the fold! (Well, so to speak - she was always ‘in the fold,’ and she was always a feminist, but she hadn’t joined Tumblr until now!)
I’m glad to see you joining us, Cadance!
((Woo hoo, another buddy has joined the fun! Go give her a hello, if you have a spare moment!))
Oh my, what is that saying? The gang is all here? A pleasure to have you wish us dear!
Hello all! I’m Lotus Drop! I’m a freshwater merpony and I’ve been talking to some land ponies recently and it has been brought to my attention the amount of mistreatment some pony folk have faced and I’m here to put a stop to it and hopefully educate people! Feel free to ask any questions!
((Hopefully the art will get better as I go along, I’m open to any photoshop advice!))
I’ve reblogged from you several times now, but I believe I forgot to ever properly greet you! So hello, from one feminist pony to another! Welcome to Tumblr, I am glad to see that you are acclimating well, and you aren’t feeling like a - dare I say? - fish out of water! Hee hee!
((I realized I should probably help promo other feminist-pony blogs, so if you have one, or want a promo, feel free to drop me a note!))
Oh my goodness!! Thank you so much! And surrounding myself with such wonderful ponies as yourself as made me feel at home (love the pun tho) thank you your Highness!
(Any feminist pony blog AFC reblogs I will surely follow!)
Greetings Lotus Drop! I am happy to find others promoting education, and ending the terrible treatment many have been receiving.
Is it possible for privileged persons to be triggered? I ask because Scott Alexander, who runs an excellent blog called Slate Star Codex, says in "A Response to Apophemi on Triggers" (I'd link you to it, but Tumblr won't let me) that he has at least two triggers, but has been told that those don't count because he's white and male. That doesn't seem like a very humane way to respond to somebody, privileged or not, telling you to stop doing something–what do you think, Princess?
Welcome, thank you for your question happyfluffyclinic.
We took the time to find this article of which you speak, to better understand your question, and we believe the first thing to note is the difference between privileges and triggers. As someone who exists in your world as both white and male, this Scott Alexander certainly has many privileges! However that does not mean he must not have triggers. For example, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder carries no limitations based on gender or race. From what we have seen it appears his triggers are a form of PTSD, which is certainly possible for a white male individual to have. However it also appears this one’s triggers (If we recall our reading correct, were social justice and feminism specifically) share a powerful link to his privileges, which makes it less about them not “counting” but rather something that can not so simply be stopped for his sake. And someone as this Mister Alexander, who appears to identify with a group well known to cause harm to the oppressed groups he claims to be triggered by, it is not unwarranted for those individuals to question his triggers with suspicion. There are many different ways members of a privileged group will try to shut down attempts to fight back speech against oppression, and given his personal situation and decisions people within the groups his triggers originate from are far less trusting and more critical of his word. One should also take note that the situations that resulted in causing this problem for him may have also been deserved, which would have a large influence on the sympathy he might receive. In any situation, it would always be best to respect one’s request regarding triggers regardless of privilege. Considering the incredible negative impact triggering may have on an individual, requests to avoid such triggers should never be outright ignored, but considering the context of his own trigger creating experiences is important as well. As an example, if a person was guilty of regularly harming animals to an alarming degree, and one day those animals fought back causing serious harm, that person may develop an anxiety problem. Triggered by the site of similar animals. It would still be good to respect their trigger by keeping animals away from them when possible, but knowing how they developed that trigger might seriously effect the sympathy one might have for them no?
Thank you for being our first question smiling fuzzy hospital!
Thank you all who sent us a greeting, we are pleased to feel so welcome!
Greetings Citizens of the Kingdom of Tumblr! We have arrived to assist our Sister in answering thy questions! Send us your troubles and we shall certainly assist thee as best we can.
