Why am I not surprised
That the “spider” queen isn’t really spider. She’s just a sexy woman with spider limbs glued to her butt.
Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeep.
I am still psyched about putting spider butt on her
DON'T JUDGE ME
(HELLO PEASANTS.)
(Just giving y'all a heads up:
I haven't retired this blog. I have, however, taken a small step back from it to deal with getting ~*~*~*~degrees~*~*~*~* and focusing on a career and such in the real life. I WILL BE RUNNING POPPY AGAIN...and ALSOOOO...

C:)
WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN ;-; Never before have I been so confused by a woman's actions, IS THIS WHAT A RELATIONSHIP IS LIKE?
Yes.
HONEEEY, I'M HOOOOOME~ (OH GOD NOT THE FACE)
Poppy bowled Jolan over.
A sweep of her enormous hammer sent the gargantuan summoner tumbling over like a fawn trying to get used to its awkward legs and the surprising weight of her miniature body bowled him over and kept him down. Heavy hammer resting on a sturdy shoulder, she peered down at him imperiously, her brow furrowing into a familiar scowl as she met his gaze through the thin slot of his helm.
What a racket! The spacious halls of the League of Legends echoed with the bellowing of his voice, a few passing students peering curiously at the two of them before fleeing at the look on her face. The League was, of course, one of the favorite haunts of the Iron Ambassador and she had gotten quite a reputation for her foul-tempered interactions with the summoner known as 'Jolan' - and for good reason! The yordle tucked a strand of hair behind her pointed ear and raised her hammer, pointing its blunted edge right down into Jolan's face.
"I know it was you who cast the spell. You are the one who had been aiding anonymous summoners in their tricks against the champions of the League of Legends, Summoner Jolan," Her tone dripped with annoyance. "Not only did you humiliate me by attaching me to that mongrel, Warwick, but I was forced into cleaning every single one of his various hideouts, gutting and skinning his prey and disposing of it once he was done...eviscerating it, for lack of a better term. This would not have been so bad if I had any control over my actions or my wardrobe..."
Poppy glared stonily down at the summoner. She could tell he was trying not to laugh.
"It's people like you, you who takes advantage of your given powers and knowledge, who break the bonds between champions and summoners. You bring disgrace to your own art by toying with it in mocking and humiliating ways when it's something that should be used to promote peace. You disappointed me."
Poppy said one word but it clearly meant another. Her blue eyes narrowed upon him in distrust, and she hopped down from his chest. Slipping her hammer comfortably back between her shoulderblades, the yordle actually loses her composure for a moment and turns with a huff.
"Don't expect me to be letting YOU into my head any time soon!"

Just crawled into bed after A-Kon dinner with my lovelies. I had a super amazing weekend in Dallas thank you so much to everyone who came by and said hello or bought something ; w ; !!! I was super nervous about this weekend but everyone made me feel so at home~~
Here’s some commissions I took during the weekend. Also. While I was writing this entry fireworks literally came from the lawn of our hotel. This is fucking the best hotel ever.
(TONS OF ASKS for the 'Honey I'm Home' prompt! If you don't see yours up here right away, don't fret - I'm trying to give everyone the same quality answer. :) )
Hello there Poppy. You mind joining me and the others to a girls night out? This isn't my idea, it seems Sir Jarvan is making me do this. In any case, I had to come ask you first. So Here I am.
"Girl's Night Out...?"
Poppy takes all of about two minutes to consider Shyvana's question. She taps a finger to her lips and studies the half-dragon female, wondering what could have driven her to come all the way here and ask her, of all people. She figured that she would have asked Lux...she seemed like that sort.
Still, the Iron Ambassador couldn't say no to a dragon. Bitches love dragons.
"Of course, lady Shyvana. Let me know what is planned and I would be glad to accompany you."
'honey, i'm home' ((just curiosity XD))
(Happy Poppy story!)
The chirping of birds and the business of hot summer air swarmed Bandle City. Situated on a small, sunny hill was a very humble, modestly painted home, a carefully cared for garden plotted behind a small fence. A small forge, chimney still smoking, lay only a few feet away. Trees extended every which way in sparse gatherings, wildflowers blooming among the lush grasses that filled the eye with emerald in any direction it looked. Within this home was a very familiar yordle.
Poppy examined the photos on the little mantlepiece with something that looked like nostalgia. She gently touched the clean, clear glass picture frame of two yordles marrying, one a blushing bridge in a gown of white silk clinging to the neck of the other, a male with a wide flustered smile and flushed cheeks. It seemed like it had all happened so long ago, but for a yordle, the passage of time was quicker than that of a human. She smiled slightly, turning from her fireplace to peer towards the doorway. He would be home shortly...and not a moment too soon.
Things had settled down since the days of the League. The League had changed. She had changed, thanks to him.
So much anger and hate. So much frustration and dedication to a cause that she felt she needed to support when there would be plenty of swords supplied in the future. How long had it taken her to realize that? Time had spiraled out of control and everything had become the opposite of what it had used to be, but she couldn't say that she didn't enjoy it. She liked the peace. She liked being able to hammer away and forge beautiful, mastercraft pieces and arms and make a healthy living off of it. Most of all, she liked Kayron.
She remembered how she had met him. She couldn't forget. It was at the Grand Spring Gala, where he had sat dejectedly in the corner and looked even more morose than she had felt, having to look like an enormous blueberry. From where it had grown and grown and grown until she had felt her heart could burst...and time had passed, and they had come together as one and married. The Iron Ambassador settled back down, letting out a heavy sigh. A soft cry jerked her head instinctively towards the tiny, acorn-shaped cradle that lay at the side of her arm chair. She peered inside. A pair of furious blue eyes gazed back at her, brimming with tears of exhaustion, and his toothless mouth opened to emit another baleful whine. Thin, impossibly soft white fur, a curl of hair across his forehead, two pointed fluffy black ears and tiny hands curled into fists, her son was not happy.
As Kayron walked through the doorway, she smiled.
"Just in time."
(( Oh, why the hell not. )) Honey, I'm home
(This was an interesting one to do.)
Poppy's eyes lifted.
Book clutched in hand and reclining casually in a poofy armchair with her bare feet plopped on a worn in mahogany desk, the yordle girl looked like the picture of comfort.
Her smile is slow to come, spreading across her stern features as Darius steps into the doorway. Long, dark hair is pulled into her usual curly pigtails, her metallic black plate set aside in favor of a simple gown that fit her yordle body well. Kohl-lined red eyes examine him as he approaches with interest, and she allows him to casually pick her from her perch like one would a house cat. Their abode lay in the heart of the Noxian citystate, one of the very few decorated manors that remained of a more austere and grandiose time in Noxian history...but you weren't a Noxian Ambassador and Noxus's Hand without having the proper arrangements.
Her life had changed monumentally since that fateful day that her father had been assassinated by what had appeared to be Noxian hitmen. Darius had found her, wandering and crying, with the helm clutched under an arm and had taken her in. So distraught in that one moment, the Iron Ambassador had not thought to fight him and had been led through the maze that was Noxus before she had ever gotten a chance to present her father's most beautiful work. The executioner had been surprisingly gentle, inciting her rage and sorrow and presenting her the truth of the matter - they had not been Noxian assassins, but Demacian. She believed him.
Her father had gotten only one answer from Demacia as he had worked painstakingly on the crown that would fit the boy prince, Jarvan IV. He had never received payment and he had only been visited once. His works were all ready renowned throughout the land and nasty rumors had begun to circle when he had decided to craft a weapon of impressive make for a Noxian warrior - why would they not wish to silence a neutral talent that could put arms in the hands of their enemy? Darius had taken her in and made her into a weapon of destruction. She served Noxus faithfully.
"Welcome home, Darius." The yordle curled an arm around his neck and squeezed it in a strong grip. "I hope you didn't have too much fun without me."
Put 'Honey, I'm Home!' in my ask, and I'll write a headcanon of our imaginary marriage.
(This looked like...fun.)
100 Theme Challenge: The Iron Ambassador
( Each and every single day I am going to take an artistic theme and sketch something of it for Poppy. I feel as if she is a champion that is genuinely unappreciated simply because 1| she's a yordle with no sex appeal and 2| she's a strong character that viably floats on her own without having to rely heavily on being paired with another League champion to work. Additionally, I'm really looking into furthering my skills as an artist so maybe this will help me out along the way! If you're at all interested in doing something like this challenge, go right ahead and snatch the idea from me. I'm looking at you, people who are wanting to retire from your blog. I know that it's an askblog and it should generally run on answered questions, but there's no reason that you can't step outside of your little bubble and do something on your own to make your blog unique and have fun with it, too. I've found that drawing is a real stress relief, so maybe it'll help in more ways than you know.
Good luck!
I have compiled my list here:
((for the horde???))
(I play both sides, but the Horde is my favorite. <3 What realm?)
An address to the Blood Hunter and the Night Hunter:
Penned in a quick scrawl across a neat piece of parchment, Warwick and Vayne find two notes with the seal of the Iron Ambassador pressed into their wax. Upon opening them, they read:
I have located the source of all of our maid-related woes due to an insightful tip by an anonymous summoner:
It is none other than Summoner Jolan. I had suspected him before because of his nonchalant nature and his rather obvious pointed questions, but there it is.
Whether he has a hand in Vayne's stranger transformation or not is yet to be seen, but he is the first to be hunted, questioned, and punished for such audacity. I trust that your...individual skills as a werewolf and a hunter of the corrupt will suffice; I will be looking as well, but I don't doubt that you will find him before me. If he will reveal the stranger who transformed her, we will hunt them next.
Until then,
P.
What goes through your head when you're forced to team up with Noxians on the fields?
The importance of political indifference is one of the first rules to be instilled in any League champion, regardless of their faction. Even if I am to be teamed up with a member of the Noxian citystate, exercising control and civility on the field is of utmost importance. I suppose it's easier for me to ignore them than most others because I'm not easily stirred by prideful or hurtful words...plus, I would be immediately suspended from the League if I made any threatening moves toward them. While I almost always don't agree with any of their motives or actions, somehow we manage to get along well enough on the field to produce a favorable match - maybe because there isn't enough time for prideful behavior with the enemy bearing down on you. But if they're on the other team...
Poppy grins wickedly.
Well, let's say I'm all too happy to comply with League guidelines regarding the...dispatch of enemy champions. Heh.
