News Update
So I have a pretty big post coming up Sunday afternoon on the main blog and if you experience any errors with the files, let me know on this mod site, so I can keep the questions separated from the usual asks.
Also, as a bit of a news update,
I will actually be starting my Master's Program in March.
Now normally this wouldn't mean much, but tag on the fact I have a primary job I work for about 45-50hrs a week and a second job I work about 5-10hrs part-time to provide additional income and now I have to go to school as well. My time on here will most likely take a hit.
Don't worry, I have no plans to go anywhere just wanted to inform you of a potentially large slow down for a while as I now have three primary Real-Life tasks that come before this as well as my own personal time so I don't go insane.
On a happier note, Stripper Trixie will be wondering around HumanconNYC in Neigh York in a few weeks if you can find her, you may win a cookie or perhaps a risqué drawing!
Sorry, needed a place to rant.
So in about 2.5 weeks, my lease ends and I need to find a new place. I had been looking around for about 1.5 months with my 3 friends that I am going to be renting my new place with and we had found a nice house that was perfect for our needs, literally, the street name was Horseshoe Lane, and the street next to it was Winona Ave! It couldn't have been more perfect for a group of Bronies (one of them is a huge Applejack Fan). Well we had been discussing with the realtor about the place and paid/submitted our applications 2 weeks ago. After some back and forth between us and the realtor, he suddenly tells us that the Home Owner won't let 4 guys move into his house? Well that's your choice, but why did you wait Two Weeks! To let us know. Should have stated it first thing, the realtor knew we were 4 guys since he saw us while we viewed the apartment and did the applications, why didn't he mention this to the home owner as soon as we applied! Our timetable to move out of our old place is now cut in half because you waited so long with this tidbit. Now we have to do another application process for another house and hope that they don't wait 2 weeks before decided to cancel on us. My current place won't extend the lease anymore, at least not without a large inconvenience fee. I'm pretty sure I'll be fine since I had several alternative places on standby if this guy fell through. I'm just upset, they waited Two Weeks, to notify me of this decision. Well, I'll be keeping tabs on how long this house sits on the market and tallying how much this homeowner lost out on for refusing to let us move in, all while maniacally laughing to myself! Mwhahahahaha!
Along those lines, I'll be pretty busy in the coming weeks with moving so may not be super active around this time period. But I'll try to post about as often as I can, which is kind of the norm anyways for me.
Finally Moved in!
So just a quick update, for those that know, I was forced to move several days back, unfortunately I was without a place to call my own for a few days and living at a friends, but as of today, I officially have fully moved into my new apartment! Yay! Now I just need to get settled and then I can finally get back into the swing of things. Though I will be Very Busy the next few weeks, so Trixie won't have much time to entertain everypony, She may just take a week or two off for some RnR away from the spotlight! But she should be back in full force by mid August
My Co-vendor TheGSPony has reserved the hotel room, and currently, it’s reserved for the max capacity, 5 people. Currently the confirmed guests is me, TheGiantSnoll, and TheInvertedShadow. TBone2014 is 50% confirmed. He has gotten back on his feet and might make it.

Gonzo forgot to mention the cost for the hotel is $75 per person with 5 guests! that's Super Cheap for 4 nights and a complimentary Hot breakfast each morning!

Okay, So I am going to Trotcon and I'm a vendor. Which is great and all, but it's about a month away which means it's crunch time for me. I've got to really focus on Building up my Stock of items for sale and thus AskStripperTrixie won't be getting as much love as usual, I'll still try and maintain my minimum of one post a week, but it's going to be rough balancing out all my commitments. Also, if you'd like to know which booth I'm at, Too bad! it's a mystery... though if you do happen to find out, say hi, and buy something! and here is a hint, Aluminum.

I'm apparently accident prone today
So yeah you know in those movies where they remove someone's fingerprints via burning or acid (MIB for example)... yeah I always thought of that as a movie myth or at least a temporary measure. Well today at work I found out just how true that is, Yeah I definitely put my thumb and middle finger on something so hot it didn't immediately register but it did melt a large indent into both digits as well as burn out a blank spot in my fingerprint lines. Oh! and just so you know, It smelled like roasting chicken! it even sizzled. Unfortunately it was my dominate hand so writing/drawing is going to feel weird for the next few days until I at least start to recover the missing flesh, if I do recover it that is...

Here is an update based on my previous post: My Grandfather is no longer in Hospice, he has decided to move on. The Funeral will actually be this week and due to obligations, I will be unable to attend, but I'm not too upset, Never liked funerals anyways. Well enough of me bumming everyone out, watch the video and laugh at my horrible acting/directing!
Going through a rough patch
Sorry for the lack of Trixie updates lately, I decided I should give everypony an update so they aren’t wondering why everything stopped. Don’t worry, Trixie is not going anywhere, just have been pretty busy with family matters and haven’t had time to work on anything.
Basically, my Grandfather has been put in Hospice this week, and we have been busy trying to take care of him in his last moments thus I haven’t had much time or motivation to draw, and have been exhausted all week. Though by next week I should be back to posting stuff for Trixie. Don’t fret though, I’m fine, my family has been prepared for this for a while now and we’re all just glad he’s still got his mind in his last few days. Well, I’ve got to get back to the matter at hand and I should be able to get Trixie back into full swing next week. Thank you everypony for being so patient with me, I’ll try and post something tomorrow so you’ll have something to look at over the weekend.
Busy Week Ahead!
So I've got a pretty busy week ahead, but I will still try and get a post or two up! I'm prepping for a convention this upcoming weekend, I'll be a vendor at Animation Celebration in Texas so if anyone happens to be going, feel free to try and find me (if you do some digging you should be able to find clues to find me), I’m spending most of the week creating as much of my stock I can so I have enough variety for the con. Though after this weekend I should be able to get a lot of the Private show requests I’ve had for Trixie stuck in the queue. So if you made a request for a show and I haven’t gotten to it yet, it should be coming out in the next few weeks. I currently have 4 requests to complete should be getting to them starting in April.
Trying to find an Art Tutorial?
Does anyone happen to know of a good tutorial that focuses on the Eyes of MLP ponies, in particular I need help with the white highlights in their eyes, That always gives me the most trouble because I can't figure out exactly how it should be positioned properly and I spend way too much time doing trial and error, and even then I'm not always satisfied. So if any of you happen to know a good tutorial on MLP:FIM pony eye highlights, let me know, so I can improve for all of you!
So my dorm neighbor left and apparently he had bed bugs and well when they realized they lost their food source, spread out and found my room! Yay! So now I'm in a battle to stop the swarm from overtaking my room, which is preventing me from having time to work on Trixie, I guess today is a good day for spring cleaning/bug proofing your room. hopefully I can make some progress on both fronts today, but the battle with the bugs takes precedence! Don't worry though I plan on going into overdrive this week and put out several answers, assuming these bugs will cooperate.
Just stumbled upon your latest modpost here. Very sorry to hear that work is being a bitch. That really sucks. I think your followers will understand though. I follow plenty of blogs that seem to just drop off the edge of the earth with no announcement, and I'm confident you won't be doing that. Good luck with everything, and actually I'd be interested in learning more about that pony merch you make! Do you have an Etsy or something?
Thank You! and Yes I don't plan on going anywhere, just had to slow down until I can get use to the current work load and find a balance of my three main activities. I hope to release a large post this weekend if I can finish in time! As far as my pony merch, I don't have an Etsy yet, though I will probably create one at the end of the summer. But I do have a Deviant Art page, I'll toss the link at the bottom of this answer. Currently though, I mainly sell my wares through Vending at Conventions, I prefer that person on person interaction, not to mention my items need to be sized to the person so online sales are a bit more complicated.
Though anyone is welcome to contact me via DA if they would like one of the items, or to request a custom piece. Most of my items are easy for me to reproduce and I can make multiples, but some of the more difficult items may have to be made to order and it would take time (you'll see what I mean when you see the bigger items lol!) I don't have everything on the site, but my main selection is bracelets, earrings, and Themed Necklaces (They go well with the MLP Dog Tags), as well as a few special items.
