Cain what was your first kiss like?
Cain Slate: [He screeches to a halt after hearing the question. Now in the middle of the room. In the middle of Fei and the floating cybernetic crimson being and his chatty, grey lion friend. He thumps his tail against the floor and huffs.]
“..What an odd question to be asking me right now- Lucky for you, everyone’s busy around me and I don’t got Fei breathing down my wings… I guess can answer this one real quick..”
“If you want an honest answer. My first kiss wasn’t good. I didn’t want it. A lot of my younger relationships didn’t have much for good kisses or personalities.. I wasn’t really into any intimate, physical contact. So I don’t consider any of those my first kisses.” he suddenly smiles, just a little, “…Now, what I considered my first kiss..? Heh…”
”It was when I was in my first year of college…I met this man, a pretty man with hair thick with indigo, and skin as black and dragon-scaled as can be…We were friends and only saw each other twice a week. We were saying goodbye one time and he called me over to him..” he chuckled, twirling a piece of his hair in his fingertips. “I walked over to his car and he just pulled me in and kissed me. God, my knees about buckled right there…It was really good…~” he giggled gleefully like a little school girl at the memory, “We had a fling for a while, a good year I think? It was the longest relationship I had at the time, and it was great.” his expression then falls.
[He turns to look at his twin, who was hastily getting the check from the main counter from a lady dressed in red.]
“I quickly found out that the man I was with…did some…terrible shit to Fei and-” he paused, stopping himself before continuing.
“…He kept a good mask on, was a follower of the Dark One. I suspect he had Fallen sometime late in our relationship. I could tell something was wrong because of how pale and unsaturated in color he was becoming…” he shivered, “I ended up leaving him behind and taking Fei far away from there…Then we came here to this city- We both were lost… So lost…”
[He tapped the tip of his boot into the floor repetitively, having his arms crossed and close to his chest.]
“..I don’t…blame him…I loved him. Anyone who falls ill to the Dark One becomes Sick- Sick in their mind! In our culture, the temple, we believe that when someone falls ill in their heart, they are not themselves anymore. They become consumed by darkness and negativity, thrown to the backseat-”
[He takes a deep breath and exhales.]
“…I’m sorry- I went way off topic- I have a bad habit of doing that, especially in my preachings…” he dusts himself off and fixes his coat. Looking back to the two chatty beings of Essence.
