Of course, I am always happy to talk about Finn. Actually... I think sometimes I get carried away. She's just a great kid, ya'know?

Well, I should mention that last April she turned 2. We threw a big party as she deserved. It's not every year that you turn 2, so it's a big deal!

She's changed so much in the past little while, these two years flew by. I could have sworn that just yesterday she was a tiny newborn who couldn't even lift her head. Now I can't keep up with her! She is really talkative, loves to run and play, and "help" me with work. Lately she has been really interested in music, especially singing and dancing along. Of course as the awesome dad I am I play her a song any time she asks. I am beyond proud of her!

Don't worry, I'm still around. Running such a successful business and raising a two year old is much harder than it looks, I'm as busy as ever. I wouldn't trade it for anything, so I am more than happy to keep myself busy. She won't be this little forever, after all.

What is the longest you’ve been awake having to take care of finn?

ha...well... I think the record now is three in the morning! That isn't counting when she was just born and needed to eat every few hours. Great young minds are always at work as they say, so when she keeps me up I just think about how much of an absolute genius she'll grow up to be. Like father, like daughter am I right?

Has Finn met the lorax?

She sure has!

She's known him since she was born, actually! He is family after all.

He's really good with her. So even though the Lorax and I don't exactly get along, I'm glad that he is here and is as close with her as he is. She gives him such a hard time but it's not anything he isn't used to!

Is your family disappointed that you chose your child over business?

Disappointed? Well... my mom is at least. She reminds me that pretty often... but! I have more important matters now, I'll have to learn to deal with it! Sometimes I do miss when she was nice to me, to be honest. Even if it was just for a little while. As for everyone else, they're doing well for themselves so I don't think they care or if they do they don't say so. It's not like I left my family with nothing! They are taken care of even if they aren't here.

Happy first day of May!

We started our May with a picnic and actually having a day to relax! Well... at least a day to try to relax. I spent most of the time chasing her around and making sure she was safe! She's getting so independent already... I'm seriously impressed by how so much has changed around here since she was born. Last year I wouldn't have even imagined bringing her out here to play like this! Well, I am pretty amazing so I didn't doubt I could fix (some) things! Here's to a great month!

They visit sometimes though! Finn really likes my brothers, they are really good with her. Which is kind of surprising, since they are so young.

We hope everyone had a happy Halloween! Finn is a little small for trick or treating, so we baked cookies and carved jack-o-lanterns! We made a huge mess, of course. What's a Halloween without getting covered in pumpkin guts? We only had a few trick or treaters, but to be fair our house isn't really close to town. Now we're just trying to figure out what to do with all of this leftover candy!
