On Dany:

Context clues. Reading between the lines. Literally looking at Dany becoming more and more trigger happy as the seasons went on. They wanted us to sympathize with her and for many to try and justify her actions.

They wanted her to be morally gray for so long so that when what happened this episode happened it would be both a shocking twist and yet, a long time coming.

So many people have been calling this for seasons now. Dany went from the underdog, to the hero, to the questionable, to the tragic villain the show has been building her to be.

The foreshadowing goes back until season two. This was not just pulled out of their asses. This has been a long time coming.
