Harmless fun

Oh, it seemed like he might have read the situation wrong - Sora’s blue eyes wide open is what seemed like confusion or maybe surprise. Yet, just as he was going to apologize for his rude intervention, Sora beamed again, thanking him for the compliments.
“It’s my pleasure” he replied with one of his usual smiles, own blue eyes narrowing just slightly at the next comment. Nice. That was but a well-constructed lie- He wasn’t nice. He was the opposite of it. He just wanted to make Sora enjoy himself so it’d be easier to go out in future dates -so it’d be easier to have him accidentally reveal things he wouldn’t otherwise. He was a snake -the very worst bastard in the whole world- and sora was blissfully unaware of that fact.
“Heh~ That sounds like a lovely time. As Eden, we don’t have many outings. Though I feel Eve are quite close to each other and are often going shopping or for dinner” he explained himself, wanting to create the mood of mutual sharing and understanding.
“Oh, of course. Harukawa-dono is a member of the videogame research club, right? No wonder you’d know so much about it. This is truly an excellent chance for me to learn about topics I’m not as familiar with!“ he praised him some more, nodding enthusiastically as he did.
“I must admit it, you make it sound like quite the fun time. I might have gotten even more excited to play now~” he cheered in a singsong. He had always liked strategy games, and to deal with something that required to use your skills to be solved sounded like a fun way to pass time “Ah, Harukawa-dono, we’re almost there”
He interrupted his train of thought as their goal came to sight, a more naturally excited tone as he approached it. “I heard there’s more than one escape room in this building. Have you choose which one you’d wish to challenge?” To be completely fair, he had checked the place beforehand thought the internet -as he often did- so he had a good idea of the levels there were, and even a preference for it. But this was a date, and asking for Sora’s opinion would most likely prove to be the best idea.
Sora was a trusting individual, seemingly one of those that saw the good in people rather than the bad. Or perhaps it was because of the strange sort of coddling Tsumugi and Natsume treated him to. No matter what the reason, Sora was not inclined to think the worst of people unless given reason to. And even then he was quick to forgive, wanting people to smile in his presence and genuinely be happy rather than distraught.
His little ability certainly made it a goal he liked achieving, the happier, warmer colours much more pleasant noise than the negatives.
Eve hm? That was... Jun and Hiyori then Sora remembered. The almost colorless senior he had met didn’t seem like the type to go out for shopping and dinner much.
It was... Sora blinked. It was nice getting compliments but this was a lot of compliments he was getting for... not really doing anything? How strange~
“Iba-senpai really compliments Sora a lot, huh? Hihi~ Sora wonders what Sora has done to deserve them?” Pulling his hands out of his pockets, Sora linked them behind his back, swinging them a bit as they walked, humming.
“Sora likes playing lots of different games in the videogame research club, but also with Sora’s friends, so Sora plays a lot of different genres~!”
After all, the more types he explores the more people he could play with who might have different tastes from his own. It had seemed like a reasonable idea for the him who wished to make more friends.
“Does Iba-senpai play video games? Or hm... maybe not? Iba-senpai seems a lot busier than Sora is, so Iba-senpai probably has a lot of work~?”
Hearing that they had almost arrived, there seemed to be even more pep in Sora’s step.
“Mhmm~! There are lots of different ones and they all have different stories and themes too! Sora thinks that’s why they appeal to so many different people!”
As for choosing a room to challenge, he had looked into them and the one that had sounded like the most fun had been one of the more difficult rooms.
“Sora heard that there’s one that’s like a mad scientist’s lab! So Sora was kind of interested in that one, how about Iba-senpai? Did you have time to see which one you liked best?”
