What is Prosecutor's Turnabout?
My huge Ace Attorney project. I plan to write the cases we see in the games (by now I plan to do it for AA 1 to AA 3, because I haven't played anything else) from the perspective of the prosecutor in question.
What's the plan?
As I did in Coldkiller X, I will write the stories from the 1st-person POV of the prosecutor - in the first case, that was Payne, the next will be Edgeworth and so on. Of course there will be more than just a rewrite of the games, I will mainly include missing scenes, stuff we only get to hear about second hand as Phoenix, and stuff we never heard about at all.
Additionally, there will be narumitsu coming up, so if you're a fan of that, stay tuned!
When will you post?
I don't know exactly when the next instalment will be ready. However, I will not start posting before the whole episode is done, which means for you: a bit longer a wait, but then a weekly update pattern.

I recall Holly being disgusted that humans excrete in their own dwellings in one of the early books. Implying, of course, that the folk go outside a building every time they want to pee/worse. Then how do huge indoor office spaces like the LEP headquarters/any other big buildings exist? Are they just built with an insane number of exits? Or no truly internal rooms? And is being outside the dwelling enough (I hope not) or do fairies also have to nyoom to some specific bathroom-type location to do their business? Or do they just need to go less often due to some biological quirk?
I was thinking about this a few weeks ago, and to me, it's just a line Colfer throws in there without doing much worldbuilding with it. Because, if we're honest, there is no "outside", since the fairies live underground. Sure, they have buildings, but as soon as they exit them, they're in Haven - which is just a bigger building, in a way.
This might be a bit of a philosophical approach to your question, but for such an advanced civilization that has found a lot of pragmatic solutions for their situation, this seems like an odd thing to be disgusted about.
We should start with the one to the west of the Monolith. It's already been weakened by previous expeditions. Or, we embrace the challenge and pick the one in the east.
Please tell me I was not the only one who went exploring after that scene, because of Esquie's new skill. And then. FORGOT which one Verso said was weaker.

on a first date that was not going well, but now you're stuck on the run with your date
on a long, isolated hike, returning to desolate cities with no way to get any information on what happened, where survivor communities might be, how to stay safe, etc.
on a ride at an adventure park, watching everyone on the ground be overrun while pinned in place with a dozen or so people
on set for a zombie movie, unable to tell actors and the real thing apart
at a con in full costume, which makes for surprisingly good protection from bites but not a very comfortable outfit to be on the run in
having just left the tattoo parlor after getting your partner‘s bite mark tattooed… which no one would ever believe, so everyone thinks you‘re infected

Something I've been thinking about after this post is: what would've happened if Nadine had mentioned Sam during the fight at the Rossi mansion? Like, she has been working with Sam as well, she knows they're brothers. Imagine she dropped a line like "You're just as annoying as your brother" or maybe even something more direct: "we haven't been enduring your brother's smartassery for the last two years only for you to get that cross now".
What do you think what Nate would do? If he'd known about Sam's lie this early on? Would he carry on regardless? Get out and try to fix things with Elena? I'm curious what you think about it ^^

In all frankness, I genuinely can't imagine Nate reacting any other way but denial. At the point of the Rossi heist, he is clearly having the time of his life. Even Sully's concerns are waved off with a shrug and a smile. While he'd no doubt stutter and furrow his brow in response if Nadine said something sketchy af mid-mission, I think the second he brought it up to Sam post-fight, Sam would no doubt blame it on her lying and trying to trip him up, and that would probably be the end of that. He might be 10% more suspicious, and make the occasional concerned expression, but I genuinely believe--- where he emotionally and mentally is at this point in the game--- very little would actually change between this option and the game we see in canon.
I think people really want to see Nathan as this infinitely moral, completely rational, perfect man who would've dodged out and patched things up with Elena the second he could. I would argue otherwise. He hasn't done the thing he loved in three years. Even without Sam's persuasion, Nate is clearly not satisfied in the mundane married life he has made himself. We see it ourselves in Nate's immediate smile at Sam's "No, we are", before logic and guilt make him respond against it verbally. I think he wanted an excuse to live the life he really wanted again, and Sam was the convenient excuse. I think this early on, it would be convenient for Nathan to assume it was a lie on Nadine's part, in order to keep that fun and adventure going... so I think he would.
He wants things. He wants this life. Despite everything, he's not "above" that. And I think it would require, as is in game, other consequences actively showing in front of his face before he'd be willing to look closer at what Nadine said back at the Rossi.

Theres currently some crows nesting on the building opposite us, and they still remember that we used to put out bird food years ago (had to stop because of too many neighbour complaints of loud jackdaws in the garden), and have managed to work out that they need a sneaky way to get food without alerting all the other birds.
This has had the consequence of me having to inform my flatmate that if he hears a polite knock at the kitchen window he needs to feed the crows or they WILL start trying to steal our cookbooks.
what's that one thing where they asked how ripely from alien was so realistic and believable as a female character in scifi for once and they were like "well we just took the dude from the original script and made him a girl and changed nothing else. it works bc men and women are the same?" and people were like "woah no way" and then didn't learn anything from that for 20 years
