Start Your Spiritual Journey Here
Are you ready to pack up your bags and move into the spiritual realm but you are not sure where to start? Then you should begin with the chakras.
What is a spiritual journey?
A spiritual journey consists of you finding your true self, improving your day-to-day life, and following a path that makes your soul feel complete. Following your own path means that just because tarot cards are widely used does not mean that you must use them or if your ancestors are contacting you that you should ignore them because your family or friends disagree with the idea. You are a spirit wrapped in layers of human skin in a world that has created labels, false narratives, and made-up rules. You are the only person who has to live with your consequences, so why live your life for someone else? That is not what you were made to do. Let go of co-dependency and those horrible labels that society has placed. Begin to embrace independence and your own journey because you are a special, beautiful, and unique individual who is capable of obtaining and completing whatever you put your mind into.
Chakra is a Hindu word to refer to the energy centers in your body. There are 7 main chakras: root chakra (Muladhara) , sacral chakra (Swadhisthana), solar plexus chakra (Manipura), heart chakra (Anahata), throat chakra (Vishuddha), third eye chakra(Ajna), and crown chakra (Sahasrara). Some people believe that the chakras begin from the crown while others think you should begin from the root. You should follow whichever order makes you feel complete, however, I believe the chakras begin at the root. The root of something represents our foundations and starting points. Without something being rooted, you would not be able to have a home because the foundations of the house makes the home nor would your feet be planted onto the ground. Before we do anything in life, there is a root that is connected to formulate the next step.

Why is the root important:
The root chakra is a reminder for us to not abandon our physical realm. While we are in this realm, we must learn how to properly balance our resources. If you want to move away from the physical realm so much then how can you appreciate a realm that you cannot see? Even if you do appreciate the physical realm, you must still learn how to master it without becoming a slave to it.
Eat healthy and natural foods, stay in your home environment, pay attention to your surroundings, become more aware instead of being naïve, learn how to trust, move your feet around by dancing, go outside, go for a walk, appreciate nature, exercise, stretch your body, take a shower, drink water, use red or natural toned crystals such as red jasper, hematite, or smoky quartz, walk barefoot, journal your feelings and experiences, meditate, make sure your basic needs are met, say affirmations, and most importantly physically move!
