My fic reached 400 kudos last night.

And, I know, I know, metrics don't matter. That's not why we're doing it. Any fic writer will tell you the truth, which is that we are writing first and foremost for ourselves. We're doing all of it for free, out of love and passion and excitement for the original material.

And yet. 400 kudos.

It's so many, so much more than I ever expected!! I know there are a lot of fics with even more, but to me, it's so very much. It's hard to wrap my head around 400 people reading and enjoying the work I've started writing while burning out, exhausted from my corporate job, turning into escapism to keep my head above water.

I'm feeling beyond grateful and excited 🥹
