Apple Feeders for Winter Birds

Easy crafts for Yule

This is my first Yule as a practicing witch and I’ve made a few crafts that I’d like to share that probably anyone can do.

First up: apple feeders for birds.

You’ll need:

Apples

Birdseed (I used a cardinal blend because I like cardinals)

Peanut butter

Twine

A wooden skewer

A knife

Scissors

A spoon or a melon baller

1. Cut the apple in half. Use the skewer to pierce a channel through the top of one of the halves. Then cut a short length of twine and use the skewer again to thread the twine through the channel. Tie the ends to make a loop so your apple feeders can hang.

2. Use the spoon or melon baller to scoop out the middle of the apple half. I like using a melon baller because it slices the apple easier and it’s easier to control the scoop depth. I snack on the insides while I’m working so nothing is wasted.

3. Spread a little peanut butter in the hollowed apple half and sprinkle in some seeds. Don’t go too crazy at this step because you’ll add more later.

4. Add more peanut butter over the top of the seeds and spread until it reaches the edges of the apple half. Then press more seeds into the peanut butter to coat it completely.

5. Hang your feeder(s) from trees around your yard. Make sure to hang them a safe distance from the ground to prevent stray cats from hunting the birds while they’re distracted.

Mars in Scorpio - Demon Dominatrix 

Mars in Scorpio produces total disinterest or complete obsession. Nothing is half way, and everything forbidden seduces the unconscious apple behind this eye. These desires take on a will of their own, mostly centring around intimacy and relationships, and more danger creates more temptation. And this is not just sex for the sheer pleasure, because the individual is rarely validated by anything physical that lacks emotional depth. It’s not so much the act of sex that she desires, but rather the experience of deep communion with another body and soul, intimacy that transcends the physical and into the deepest trenches of one another. She is seeking a shared transmission each partner’s inner angels and dark forces, and her unspoken innuendo simmers until you cannot resist her anymore. These individuals are therefore very vulnerable to sexually transmitted demons - absorbing the wounds and darkness of the sexual partner. It can also generate a magnetism of its own, and she can feel insatiably pulled towards certain energies and auras. The unconscious desire is to re-enact an ancient ceremony, and it’s the oldest and purest magic that she knows. 

The somatic energy of Mars is internalised in Scorpio, and it can produce strong side-effects in the physical body. Mars rules blood and the adrenal glands, so it’s possible that menstruation began quite early or even prematurely. There may be excess monthly bleeding, debilitating exploding contractions, and increased reactivity. In some cases, the individual can measure her physical potential against her cycle and perform better at certain monthly intervals, like she taps into a superheroine power.  The other side-effect of this internalisation is the private nature of Mars in Scorpio. These battles go completely unseen by anybody else. She is  conscripted as the sole fighter, and her enemies are the masked-assassins of her history, trauma, betrayals, and victimisations. Mars in Scorpio can create a secret emotional haemophilia, especially when the infliction is the partner or relationship. So despite the Scorpio sign’s social reputation, we are much more likely to witness a silent self-destruction rather than a destroyer of somebody else with Mars in Scorpio. And the gift of insight can be somewhat lost here, because it’s often these acts of self-sabotage that hurt her loved ones the most. These individuals set extreme personal challenges and become relentless about achieving them. There is such a display of endurance and commitment that it can be heart wrenching to watch her destroy it all in a moment of rage. She is trying to destroy the part of herself that cannot be killed, only integrated and transformed into her firelight. This is why she can feel dead inside, or something like it at times. She wants to forget and she wants to destroy what needs to be a part of her life and story. And in the end regardless of inaction, any person who mistreats her will pay. These inner forces stir like a cauldron and mix curses and hexes. Wrathful thoughts and visuals send psychic attacks to the perpetrator without intention. And for a real sin against her, these can last a lifetime. The pain threshold can be remarkably high and almost seem inhuman. The psychological strength of this placement is exhibited here, and she can use her mind to manage or compartmentalise pain. She may even have the ability to enter a trance-state or cocoon in states of agony or when she is pushing herself to achieve better - such as run that extra kilometre.  

People born with Mars in Scorpio always sense they are being lead blindly by greater forces at hand. The desires are so powerful and unconsciously bound that they can manifest like a ‘quasi-will,’ or like a force that seems larger than she is. It’s something higher and more powerful than can be known, expecting something from great her, and it’s so carnal it blurs every rational explanation. Through violent mood swings, betrayals, and witness to the beasts in others, she runs with the wolves, away from herself yet further towards it, howling into the darkness. The spirit is rich with resilience and survival instinct and prophecy. The quiet nights are the loudest because she can hear the trumpets of the underworld in her ear, a grand choir and desperate cry. And she comes to recognise the one inside who can hear these instruments is her ancient soul. She stops raising the question of ‘will I survive it this time?’, realising there is no choice in the matter. Mars in Scorpio is defined purely as hardship and horror by those who don’t live with it, or those that do but have become disempowered rather than empowered by the sheer force of this nature. She doesn’t just survive, she embarks on a heroine’s journey few would know exist, and she writes a life trilogy that will be retold for centuries.

Disney made a whole fucking seperate subscription streaming site exclusively for their own content and yet they dont have all their own content, partuclarly and glaringly not the difficult to find content that no one else would have

Instead they fucking pulled their more popular and accessible stuff from other subscription services including ones they already own

And then they have the nerve to be like “dont pirate our content pwease :( its not nice”

Anyway, how’s capitalism treating all the rest of y'all lmfao

You know what’s even worse? At least half of these listed shows, to my knowledge, are considered to be Lost Media to some extent. Whether they be partially lost, partially found, or lost completely. We haven’t seen hide or hair of these shows in YEARS and, as we all know, Disney likes to hold onto their IPs like a spoiled toddler.

It’s possibly the very fact that the scarcity of these shows is the exact reason why they won’t put them on Disney Plus. Because they know that people are going to redistribute them to people without the service. (Even then the very practice of locking these shows behind a paywall in the first place is inane. Because it’s not like Sesame Street and HBO where new episodes are on their streaming service but will premiere on PBS at a later date.) And that honestly pisses me off to no end, for them to knowingly avoid these shows for such a petty reason like that.

Aries and Moon in Aries - Baby Dragon with a Girl Tattoo

Aries are born with defence armour high and hostile. Life does not begin comfortably for Aries, and the people that characterise her early life can remind her of how small she really is. Survival is always the first reflex for Aries, and the actions that follow are typically more pure and innocent. She is fighting for a cause, and the most important cause is herself, because she doesn’t know any different than to stand her ground, raise her daggers in preparation, and refuse to stand down to threat or intimidation. To be challenged or threatened by other people can be a slaughter to her essence and signify a real assault, it threatens her identity, her mechanisms, the feeling of safety she has in the world, she can respond aggressively to situations because she knows that nobody else has ever been there to save her. Aries defences can turn into searing daggers, hollering toward you at the rate of the rage in her chest. And these are most forcefully launched when she feels most vulnerable. She slices herself on her own sharp edges as self-defence becomes self-destruction, like when she sacrifices a close friend to win, or when she rejects softness because she feels undeserving. Her physical and emotional needs demand to be satiated immediately, and the measures that she can take to protect herself in the meantime and acquire her needs express in a manner most often seen in children. And the way that people respond and interact with her during and following these episodes become therapy sessions and insightful lessons. Every time she makes a mistake, she also learns a better way to cope and approach the scenario. 

She does not hit a wall - she crashes right through it. It’s like she really does reach a threshold of coolness before the temperature rises into eruption point, there’s an active volcano in Aries. Through self reflection and self direction, she can continue to raise the limit of the temperature before she boils over completely. She is constantly developing coping mechanisms for her own ease and survival, and it’s quite a testament to the secret agony and work of Aries.
