The weekend in Mui Ne.
This last week has all been about the UNICEF gala. I've been visiting the printing machine, and the photographer, seeing my work of the Award, keepsake, wrapping paper and walls be finalized. I'm proud and exited to have them in my portfolio. And even if my phone is stolen and my visa card doesn't work, I'm exited to see what my Internship here in Sagion is taking me next.
Exploring the Jade Emperor Pagoda.
Just another weekend in Saigon....
So we've been in Saigon for three weeks now. After the trip to Hoi An we started our internship at Rice Creative. It's been two weeks, we're really enjoying our time working at Rice. Everybody is awesome. And we even had a barista named Will two times this week visiting the office roof and serving us lots of ice coffee!! It's the best coffee I'd had for a long time. He taught us about the different methods of making coffee and where the beans come from and so on. Really nice of him to drop by, hope he'll come again soon.
We are two Vegetarians so it is not really easy to find food here, we've found some different places, and wow that's some good food!! Loving the vegetarian Pho soup! We also live very near Ben Than Market, where you can get fresh fruits and nuts whenever. Some days ago we found a gourmet store selling European food! Almost crying at the sight of potatoes and dark bread, we filled our bags. We are getting sooo tired of all the sugar here. The Vietnamese love sugar! The'll have sugar in everything!
Getting more and more used to the chaos in Saigon, and starting to falling love with this whole organism. "It's a organized chaos!" a guy told us yesterday, sitting on red plastic stool in the streets, "It's illegal to sit like this in the streets. Sometimes the police will come and you better run" and he laughs. It's also impossible to walk the pavement here, because of all the people sitting around on the plastic stools and also all the mopeds that's parked. It's better to just walk on the car road, and the best way of crossing the road is just by walking in a steady speed and be determined. The weather is great here, and we didn't even notice the storm. But it's hard to think that it's november when it's hot outside
To sum it up. We're having a Awesome time here (with it's ups and downs). Work is great, and we have a lot of interesting and exiting projects going on. We've made allot of new awesome friends. And we are exited to find out more about this fascinating country.
Over and Out!

Dag två i Hoi An.
Tredje dagen i HCMC.

It's been a long, long travel to Vietnam. It was wonderful to have a transfer in Istanbul for a couple of hours. Drinking breakfast tea at the sea at sunrise, then strolling through the city of Istanbul. Walking through narrow alleys and eating lots of tasty food. It was absolutely awesome! We landed yesterday in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and we are still packing up our things and getting used to the warmth and the traffic noise. We're soon heading out to have some cash exchange and to buy some things for the apartment. Hope you'll enjoy the photos. //Love Klara&Kornelia
We are really looking forward to this trip. But right now at the moment it's very much to do. Hopefully everything will turnout great. Now we have are tickets and are visas and a blog so I guess that's what we need. Now we just need to put everthing in to boxes.. fjuuhh.. well wish us good luck!
