I downloaded Blush Blush just so I can achievement hunt it and uh oh spaghettio I am now in love with the game. (*U*)

So much so I immediately needed to create an oc just for shipping purposes and I just having so many ideas for her and the guys of blush blush. I know the whole game is filled with guys and she may or may not fit better in Crush Crush but tbh I am not so big with that game plus I think she would be overstepping Quill's territory (White hair/A lil bit of a cat theme especially with my reverse au that I will talk about later) plus she is more of a fleshed out marshmallow, idk if I would say marshmallowsona because she isn't meant to represent me but just putting her in the shoes of the mc :)

Before I blabber about her and what not I will aknowledge Sad Panda Studios pro-ai stance and using generative ai on socials (which I think is just twitter) as well as secretly using ai to help with their games, which I do not condone nor support that behavior. It makes me so disappointed in them and disgusted. For evidence here is a post about it. If I knew this beforehand I wouldn't have even downloaded the game.

I did the art mostly in my style anatomy wise but tried a lil bit to shade it and color the lines like Blush Blush. I gave her Stats like the one in game! It is in the picture but I will also type it out here:

I am working on making her fit the style of the game, I was given suggestions to look up Crush Crush for women anatomy and design and I know both games have the same artist, I just didn't wanna copy Crush Crush. Idk if I am smoking something but the styles look different to me, not like oil and water but there are subtle differences between the styles to me. Mainly the eyes and face structure. Here is the sketch!

I think it will only start looking right when it is in the coloring/rendering phase ^^

Maeve, on the outside, is a confident women who handles accidents and unexpected events with grace or with a no sweat, but on the inside she is freaking out and haunted by the littlest mistakes. She is genuinely mortified by the whole zoo fiasco and is doing her best to reverse it. She tries to have the best outlook on life and be a bit playful or a light flirt, despite feeling like every new interaction is like walking over eggshells. With constant exposure tho, she actually is less tense with the guys and lets loose for real this time, but it only eases with time. She does what she thinks is good and does genuinely care for others.

Maeve knows what she wants in a relationship, especially after knowing what she does NOT want in one (her parents relationship). If not given a push (aka this whole manimal thing) Maeve is a slow burn girly, but mainly follows the speed of whoever she is with, Maeve is fine with mostly anything. I can also see her trying to keep her cool when the relationship ramps up but inside she skips a beat and really want to squeal ecstatically. She is a lil touch starved.

I have been shipping her a lot of Nimh and a lil bit of Cashew (still gotta draw him with Maeve) but I can pretty much imagine her with just about everyone so far, haven't gone super far I have only gotten to Dmitri like yesterday. I have some art of just her and Nimh!

Maeve is doing her darnest not just attack Nimh with hundred of kisses, mainly to not strain his poor heart. She is a light adredeline chaser but puts his health way above her want for a little speed. (We are gonna ignore the requirements for rollercoasters, the way he clutches his chest- T-T)

Okay now I REALLY wanna talk about my reverse au!! Basically where any of the dudes are the reason Maeve or Marshmallow is an animal and it is THEIR turn to change them back!!

I kinda wanna draw this happening like the cutscene in the very beginning. I just gotta write stuff down, if you wanna give me ideas for any character accidentally giving them the forbidden water bottle let me know!

I decided Maeve is a really, really fluffy house cat! Felt like it fit for her :) here is a wip for that cutscene idea!

She just nervously like "I would like some help here!" How many of the cast would actually know how to hold a cat tho?

I just needed someone to hear my frustrations on tranfering animation frames and stuff so if you want to read it here you go!

So I was chosen to do two things for a project which is do a sketchy animation based on a storyboard provided and THEN make the lineart for it to then send it off to the colorist of this silly thing. I don't think I can say what the project is, I am not under an oath or contract forbidding me from doing so and I can probably share it once it is done but out of respect for the project I am not saying what it is about I am just talking about the process. So, I don't have any of the higher tier animation apps cause I don't wanna spend the money nor am I confident in like Krita so what I am using is Flip-a-Clip for the sketch and then Ibispaint for the linework. I would of just used Ibispaint only if it had a ability to put audio in it, it does not have a way for you to give it audio and if it did it probably be stuck behind it's prime. While flip-a-clip does not have the same quality as Ibispaint, it at least has a audio function and I not rather try to manually match the audio to a frame and I am fine with watching ads to add the audio.

So I finished the animation so now I am trying to figure out how to more smoothly add the frames from flip-a-clip to Ibis paint. While you can't transfer videos to ibispaint, I saw a bit ago that flip-a-clip has a png sequence option so that was in the back of my head while I was working on it. I was already accepting my fate of downloading 191 pngs to give them their own personal frames over on Ibis paint. Once I actually needed to get all the individual pngs, I find out it is locked behind a subscription. I was ready to purchase whatever just for this project cause the thing is due less than a week and I just wanna transfer these so I was just gonna cancel after the fact.

But then I thought "oh, no there is definetly some app or site that will turn my mp3 and make the individual pngs for each frame" so I just save it as a regular video file and eventually found a site called Ezgif.com which did the trick. I eventually saved all the pngs into a zip, while the site did give the files their own names that basically was like frame 1, frame 2, and so on and so forth. But it didn't save them time-wise in that order so to me I was given a jumble of files not in the right order but I was okay-ish with it, it just means I would take longer trying to put the right file in the right frame cause I got the name of the frames individually.

I got to ibis paint to do the animations linework. I can't customize the animation size cause that is a prime feature but I was fine with just using their 3:4 ratio thing. But my Flip-a-clip pngs were bigger than the canvas and Ibis doesn't auto do the size. If I don't resize ALL of the pngs myself, I would have to reline EACH INDIVIDUAL FRAME for them to line up. It is like instead of using a table or the palms of your hands to straighten up a stack of paper, you had to individually place a paper down and can only adjust one at a time.

I rather not do that cause that makes the progress EVEN LONGER but also any discrepancy will make it shaky and I rather have it exactly the way they lined up in flipaclip. So I go and find ANOTHER website so I can resize ALL the 191 files in bulk. Found a site to do so but I can only do it 60 per task. Which is file, I would just have to do the process like 4 times. I did the first batch.

... It gave the files new names which were straight up numbers, AND I lost which png I stopped at. so right now I am back in flip-a-clip just to number ALL the 191 frames so I can at least recognize what frame is which. so I can turn it into a movie, put the movie in EZGIF to give me the individual frames, take those frame and resize it to the same size as the ibis paint animation file SO THEN I can line art it.

ALL CAUSE IBIS PAINT DOESN'T HAVE AN AUDIO FEATURE AND I DON'T WANNA SPEND MONEY FOR A SUBSCRIPTION.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

And it is like close to 6 am.

Also the work is a fanwork, just for fun.
