So uh. Interesting time for you to check in. I'm hiding in the rafters of the second reception hall. Let's move back a little.
Morrin's mother came in. Her name is Comtessa Vanda del Posseton III and she started talking about some Tymmophon Allenis for about ten minutes before any of us clocked that was Morrin's full deadname. No wait. I asked her who tf she was talking about and she had me dragged out of the cell and whipped. I'm ngl I got a good bit of fun out of moaning about it. She got this look of disgust on her face and just had her guards toss me back into the cell. She kept trying to go back to the monologue but every time we made eye contact I smiled at her and she got more and more pissed off. She turned to Nessa and threatened to whip her BUT NESSA, THE LEGEND, just laughed and said she's an even bigger pain slut than I am. I think that broke something in the Comtessa's brain. She just stalked out of the room and ordered the guards to leave the dungeons barricaded and locked from "the outer door".
I genuinely cannot believe I managed to nip a set off keys off the second guard. That's some D&D nat20 bullshit, I almost lost it before they left. Nessa was all worried, though. As was Maia.
But then I showed them the keys and we all just burst out laughing. Istg that's the hardest I've ever laughed, I actually pissed myself... it was all sorts of embarrassing until Maia said something like "damn girl how bad can your aim be? That's obviously not my mouth~" And we just fell over giggling again.
But thinking of Morrin sobered us up. I unlocked myself, unlocked Nessa, and helped her stretch and massage her arms. There's gonna be red marks on her wrists for a while, Minor Heal doesn't really cover healed hardened skin. Maia told us to wait until the last minute to- oh shit Maia I didn't know you were up here too! Girl where's Nessa? Yeah? ...Okay yeah that sounds good. Anyway yeah she told us to wait until the last possible moment to free her, cause her chains had magic wards in them that go off and make a bell ring in the guardroom.
Like deadass an actual bell. The energy of the lock turning (it's this big fuckoff thing the size of my palm) is transferred to a bell that starts vibrating about as loud as a microwave. It's pretty cool magic sure but we had no idea how much time everything would take. Nessa did stretches and started shadow boxing for a minute while I went over the whole dungeon and found some old spare clothes. None of them fit me, but I kind of didn't clock that until I had all.my stuff off and down the chute so.
I'm completely naked except for gauntlets and shoes. We tried to tie some scraps together for a bra but the best we could do was make a pretty decent loincloth. It's actually pretty snug in here.
Anyways we found some sticks and old strikers Nessa could use as brass (or, well, iron) knuckles, and unlocked Maia. And then the door.
That clothing mishap was a blessing in disguise though. The ring's been working amazingly, it's been six months and I've got pretty big b-cups and the sort of curves I could use to ruin a noblewoman's sanctity. I honestly don't think the guards were mentally ready to see a muscle mommy with a knife running full-tilt at them.
Anyways yeah I kicked a few of them so hard that the fucking shoes fell apart. I forgot that this whole isekai thing's given me slightly unnatural strength.
Second oddly satisfying feeling unlocked: the soft pop of a particularly awful guard's testicles undergoing a permanent transformation into pancakes when I kick him hard enough to snap his pelvis. Maia's looking me kind of weirdly now, I think she got a little more turned on seeing me dislocate 15 men's arms and legs while basically buck naked than she meant to. These gauntlets are sick as fuck though, I wonder who Comtessa locked up before us to have left these.
The keys I swiped didn't work on the outer door, and we lost precious moments finding that out, but the hinges looked in pretty bad repair, so I kicked the door out of frustration - I genuinely wasn't expecting it to do much, but the hinges cracked and Nessa and I were able to drag the door open. Maia grabbed a prybar from somewhere and helped break the hinges off of the door.
There were guards on the other side, too. We must've looked like right loons, one of us holding a whole door, Nessa with strikers in her hands, Maia holding a prybar like a staff
Turns out anything with a sharp end works as a makeshift catalyst. Good to know.
Anyways yeah we got split up in the corridors, Nessa broke off from us and said she's gonna punch her way over to Morrin's room. We (Maia and I) ran off to distract the guards, and now we're up here in the rafters, and Maia keep making simulacra of our voices in the different rooms around us. We both cast Shadowstep on Nessa, so she should be good so long as she sticks to the shadows and doesn't yell at anyone.
Maia's looking tired, and she just told me the plan. I gotta go
