Why have you decided to call him Paddy instead of Patty?

He'll get all variations and I'm happy with whatever people call him :) I have six brothers and I think they all call him something different. My personal favourite is one calls him chewy (cause PK like the chewing gum) hahaha One calls him paTTy, one Patto) etc I just liked Paddy more for this age and think it's much cuter 🤗

How is Paddy going at daycare?

He is LOVING it!!! He's a social little butterfly and he's finally settled into sleeping well there too. He has his poohie with him for comfort if needed, he still gets a bit upset sometimes when we leave.But yeah it's a gorgeous centre and he absolutely fits in so well!

Still my favourite photo of all time. Some days I just scroll back and look through photos with him and I always stop on this one. I remember the moment so clearly. How has 8 months gone by so fast. He was this little and still? Just wow. It’s like this huge dream. I have so much love for this tiny little soul. I wish I could relive this moment time and time again.

Trying to pick a "daddy dance" song... crying so hard!

My brother is going to dance with me. I'd love to do the thing where all my brothers dance for part of the song but I have six brothers and 2 of them I couldn't see myself dancing with even at my wedding so that spoils that awesome idea 😭

I didn't get as many as I would've liked looking back now but the ones I have I'll treasure for the rest of my life. My clearest memory is just screaming and crying when I actually saw them lift Paterson up from the end of the bed. I was in complete awe and shock that this was my baby. He was mine. He was here and he was safe. He was real. He was love. My heart sunk when they showed me the complete knot in his umbilical cord which then showed us why his heart rate had been distressed all day and caused me to require ventouse. We were so lucky to not lose him. He was placed on my chest and we had skin to skin for over four hours before they ever measured him or weighed him. Just me and him cuddling and resting after our big ordeal and getting to know one another on the outside. I wish I could relive this moment. The pain, the fear, the shock and the joy.
