Man i love the crash event. 52k people posted a single word, the queue system broke, everyone forgot it was gonna happen and got confused about why they posted crash. Several hundred people got the time so wrong that i saw someone post it every hour. Despite a timezone calculator being included in the post. It was aknowledged in a staff post. I roleplayed as an army general trying to keep my troops motivated. The whole thing left 0 cultural impact on the site

stargate atlantis is the funniest stargate series because they kill SO many people. stargate atlantis is what happens when you don't have daniel jackson being like 'JUST because their skulls are SEE THROUGH doesn't mean that they don't have RIGHTS jack' every episode. you get john shepard posted up in the rafters of atlantis mowing down like 12 genii with an entire p90 magazine. you get lieutenant ford kicking a guy's legs out from underneath him and stealing his gun and putting him in a headlock. you get teyla whipping out her eskrima sticks and beating a guy senseless. you get ronon literally exploding a guy's chest. and it RULES
