Doctor Reacts To The Pitt Season 2 Episode 10 w/ Supriya Ganesh
i totally understand not feeling strongly about a podcast from 2010 but saying things like “everyone was edgy back in the day, everyone made jokes like that” isn’t the way to go. just because it was normalized doesn’t mean it was okay, and yeah people aren’t perfect but i’m also sick of a certain demographic of ppl having phases of life where they just happen to be racist bc they “didn’t know better” and we have to just be okay with what was said and quickly forgive and move on so that people in fandom aren’t inconvenienced by having to acknowledge what poc constantly go through. do i think he still thinks and operates with that thought process? no. do i think that the way people rush to dismiss those who have every right to be just so they can get back to their headcanons and fanfics is okay? also no. two things can be true at the same time, and we should all apply that to the way we think about things like these
It takes one minute to imagine the scene and 500 hours to write it
Hm, I've always wondered what Machiavelli would have been like if he'd been warped by boomer misogyny.

This and this essay by @microbiologistmusings about Jack and mobility aids are also a fantastic resource.
Growing up in India, I never questioned my gender. When I moved to the U.S. at 18, I began to feel disconnected from my body.
A piece by Supriya Ganesh on being Indian in the entertainment industry, how that affects their gender identity, sexuality, and femininity.
These are just outtakes of a very important piece. I urge you to read the whole thing.
