you say this jokingly but i had a customer actually order a pumpkin spice latte with 9 shots of espresso (also no whip) and when i asked her to verify that she did indeed want 9 shots of espresso she looked me dead in the eyes and said “i have 5 kids”

I once had a woman come in and ordered an Americano with 19 shots of espresso. The drink took ages. It held up the line. I asked her why, and she shrugged and said “I just don’t care”. We still talk about that woman. We never saw her again.

Mrs. Bakura glances up at the bookstore’s store front with a perplexed look on her face. Huh, strange, she could have sworn ‘Beehive Books’ was here. She had been hoping for her favorite bookstore, but it appears they may have gone out of business. ‘Moren’s Artifacts and Atrocities’ the new sign said in big curving letters. A smaller sign hangs below it, ‘all sales final, shop at your own risk.’ She smiles in amusement and gives a little hum contemplating whether she should go in. Well, she did walk all the way here, she might as well have a little fun going antiquing. With a pull of the door, a ring of a bell, she enters, her eyes scanning over all the items cluttering the shop. There was so many things! So much stuff! She didn’t know how or where to even start.

Moren damn near falls out of his chair when he hears the sound of chimes and the door clicking as it closes. A customer? Wait, hold up, an actual customer was in his store. He peaks his head around a stack of books and sees the customer in question, white hair cascading down her back. Ashe? Had Ashe come to see him? That was awfully sweet of her. He grins his signature grin and waltzes over leaning against one of the shelves.

“Long time no see Ashe what brings you arou-...“ He cuts himself off midsentence. “Oh, uh, I’m sorry. I thought you were a friend of mine.” He clears his throat and extends a hand to the woman now staring at him, “Welcome in, my name’s Moren. Is there anything in particular you’re looking for today?”
