Small penises aren't bad, balding isn't bad, being short isn't bad, being fat isn't bad. Physical traits are not signs of morality, and the sooner people stop mocking people for their bodies (yes, even when they're bad) the better.
Remember when they called us “Human Capital Stock?”
me when im feeling male vs me when im feeling female
why are you as a man keeping your eyes fully open? to see more men?
Hey uhhh do I need to go to the hospital if I just learned that a mug I drink out of once in a while contains 99,300 ppm lead from a fucking wojak meme
I literally bought this at an antique store last year fuck my life
^ cursed vessel
If this post hits 50k I'll lick the paint with my full tongue
BRANDON.
big fan of tags being visible in notes because when your posts blow up they can turn into petri dishes filled with some truly deranged shit
I don't know what's in the air in Brazil that makes Brazilian people genuinely batshit. We're just built different
I don't know how to explain to gringos the concept of gambiarra without making it sound like the entire country of Brazil is set to creative mode
Please try anyways, bestie ❤
So gambiarra is the art of finding solutions with what you have. The art of improv. Not always the best solution, but the solution you're capable of. I'll get some examples
These are some amazing Brazilian gambiarras
Are these the best solutions? Probably not. But the important part is that the problem is solved
*vibrating* it’s the cowboy witch poem it’s the cowboy witch poem it’s the cowboy witch poem
Yes the show about the man who in the face of a terminal diagnosis and mounting medical debt refuses to accept any help from his friends and family and community and decides instead that he must turn to drug manufacturing to take the power and fortune he felt he was entitled to all along, regardless of the lives he destroys and the chaos that ensues, all bc he feels his superior intellect was never appropriately recognized and the intense jealousy he harbors toward the people he used to be closest to bc they get to live the life he wanted after he abandoned them over an imagined slight, isn't really political and says nothing about the mindset of one of the most catered to demographics in our society
Lot of white people like to talk about how the show is about the healthcare system or something but if you watch not even that closely it's about white fragility. Walt could have accepted any kind of help from so many people and didn't do so out of pride. He felt emasculated and owed something despite being the one to always fuck his own life up. The whole reason he wasn't part of grey matter anymore is cause he threw a tantrum and walked away, then claimed he was shut out oh so meanly.
Even when his son set up the page for his cancer and he used the bots to launder money he was still mad his family didn't know it was from brave Walters hard work.
The consistent problems in this show stem from Walt's hunger for violence and how much he actively gets off on dominating others. The show established very quickly there were many ways to pay for his treatment; grey matter, Hank, letting Gretchen pay for it outright, and every time he refused out of a false sense of pride.
Maybe if they hadnt given Walt so many ways to pay for his treatment I would buy that it's about health care being unaffordable but that was NOT the story BB is telling. There's a reason all the characters are upper middle class and act That Way, it's the whole point of the show
do you think butch hartman knows how many eggs he cracked with this
butch hartman designing characters:
Butch Hartman dives so deeply into into the “Boys being compared to girls as alleged comedy” hole that he effectively dug a tunnel to the other side of the world and it starts being “you barely have to squint to read this character as trans” instead.
Tintin remembers what comes after 15.
FUCKING HELL IT’S BACK FROM LAST YEAR
This literally gets reblogged every 15th of the month. It’s almost two years old. It’s beautiful.
listen up ya’ll this post is 6 years old now and you’re still reblogging it. every month. once a month, my notifications blow up for this one video, but only until the 16th. then the notes on this vid completely stop. it’s so eerily spot on and impressive how you just all collectively know what to do. if I’m not online, people irl still remind me that it’s the 15th. thank you for six surreal years of me wondering if I completely fucking lost it. here’s to the 15th
just saw a post where someone put “detrans dni” and like… hey we should be supporting detransitioned people bc if we don’t terfs will
sometimes you’re wrong about your identity and that’s ok like i used to think i was bi but it turns out i was wrong and i know ppl who thought they were trans but it turns out they were wrong and it should be ok and accepted that sometimes people don’t get it right on the first try
@shadowknight1224 this is an excellent way of putting it thank you
This touches on something I have felt for a long time, which is that one of the reasons rigid queer labels and gatekeeping is so dangerous is because if you want to encourage people to explore their gender/sexuality, there has to be a safe "Actually I was wrong" option.
I went through so very much anxiety coming out, and when I really think about it it was squarely from the fear of being wrong about it all. That I was, at heart, a cishet woman, and therefore I was appropriating a label that didn't 'belong' to me, and I would (somehow) be harming other people by doing so. There's so much more unnecessary pressure if the sword hanging over your head is "But you do have to be right about this, you can't back out once you've even asked the question."
I think that is Bad. I think it makes fewer people ask the question. I think that includes those who need to ask, and would be much happier for it.
to summarize: one of the things the Q stands for is QUESTIONING
and that is as it should be
they slash them?????
none pizza with left beef
It should be a rule of Tumblr to always reblog none pizza with left beef
ive missed you
Something no one tells you when you’re going through a tough time, is that even the smallest people will remember you. They’ll wonder why you haven’t bought food for your dog, where the pictures of your boyfriend went, or why their favourite cashier hasn’t been there for awhile. People notice you. People love you. Even if it’s for your jokes, even if it’s for your patience, even if it’s just seeing you around. People miss you. People love you. People care.
I’m grateful for everyone who is still here today, no matter how hard it is.
I still remember when I quit my old job at a McDonald’s, I was talking about how it was my last day, and had accidentally left the drive thru window open. The lady in the window overheard me and said “oh no, you’re quitting? I’ll miss you, you were always so nice!” And I almost sobbed. This random lady came through my drive thru enough to recognize me, enough to care that I was leaving, despite having barely had a single conversation other than what I had to say to do my job. People really do remember you, especially if you’re nice.
don’t let capitalism convince you that people are selfish loners. We are social creatures who have survived only because we are capable of great love.
I’ve had a customer tell me that they’ll shop where I’m going next because they trust my advice with things. I’ve had customers tell me they’re going to miss my smile. I’ve had customers tell me that i’ve got to come back and visit.
Sometimes people are great, and they’ll miss other people who are great (you).
