Moon used to share a room with Mingi but after moving dorms she has a solo room on the floor with Yeosang and Yunho. Her room is held in dark colors such as black, blue and grey. She has a corner of her room turned into a studio with her desk, multiple instruments and recording equipment. In front of her window there is a seat with some books about dog training, body health and philosophy. On the opposite side of her window, she has her bed, her closet and the dog beds (that are often empty because the dogs sleep in her bed).

found yourself getting blocked for seemingly no reason?
does your profile look like this:
you're getting blocked because people think you're a bot
do yourself a favour and change your profile images to literally anything except the defaults. give your blog a name, give yourself a bio even if it simply says "new, figuring this out" or something. please, just do ANYTHING that shows everyone you're a human. then you wont get blocked anymore and you'll have a lot more fun here!
oh and while we're here, another hot tip: reblog things. likes do nothing here, there's no algorithm
okay happy tumblring tumblrinos, tumblrinas and tumblrinehs!
i think the post may be exploding bc someone pointed out that new users can't change their profile pic until they follow at least 3 ppl...???
IF that is the case, regardless if you are or are not following at least 3 ppl, that shouldn't stop you from making a post, like bee said, that says "new here, still figuring everything out!" we don't WANT to block actual ppl who are trying to get into tumblr and figure out how this site works, we just want to block bots.
Moon has seven piercings and twenty tattoos. Moon has both arms fully tattooed. In other words, she has two full sleeve tattoos. The two pictures underneath show an example of how it looks.
⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫
Piercings ☆
[right ear: 3 piercings | left ear: 2 piercings]
Moon got her first piercings in 2007. Her first piercings were her lobe piercings. She got the two lower helix piercings in 2016. The orbital conch on her right ear was done in 2019.
⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪
{2019, side labret}
Moon got her lip pierced in early 2019. It is a side labret and she mostly wears rings, especially silver ones.
⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫
[2021, eyebrow piercing]
Moon got her eyebrow piercing in early 2021. It got her some backlash, but most fans were hyped about it.
⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪
Tattoos ♡
{2019-2023, right & left arm/sleeves}
Moon got these big tattoos over the time span of five years, from early 2019 to the present. These are the biggest tattoos that are spread on both of her arms from shoulder to wrists. They are sometimes as big as a hand, sometimes smaller. Some are placed horizontally and some vertically. Most of them are black and white but a few have color. The dragons are just symbols that she likes as well as the crow. A lot of her tattoos are just things she likes. But there are more personal ones as well. The Doberman tattoo is of her dog Hades. The medusa and phoenix tattoo have more deeper mental health and trauma meanings. And the compass and ateez symbol obviously refer to her group.
⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫
[2021, back/left shoulder blade]
Moon got her back tattooed in 2021. This is an abstract art tattoo. For moon it has the meaning of continues flow. Never give up and always keep moving.
⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪
{2019-2023, left & right arm/sleeves}
These tattoos are smaller, filler tattoos for Moon’s sleeves. She got them in the years from 2019 to 2023 as well. They are also special, though. The cat tattoos are more colorful than her usual tattoos and were picked by Jieun (Stray Kids). She has another two tattoos regarding her group. One is their slogan (A/N: It is obviously ‘9 makes 1 team’ now) and the other is a heart with ‘Atiny’ in it. The smallest tattoo is a reference to the hourglass in their lore.
⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫
[2022, between/underneath breasts]
In 2022 Moon got a tattoo that is slightly underneath her breasts and in the center of her chest. The red moon symbolizes strength, courage, and power for Moon. For Moon the tree symbolizes life and beauty. Community and peace.
⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪
{2021-2022, left & right hand}
In 2021 Moon got her left hand tattooed (middle picture) in the same abstract design as her back. Her right hand was tattooed in 2022. Here only her middle and ring finger are tattooed in a spider web kind of style.

⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫
[Phone, Case & Earphones]
Moon has an iPhone 13 pro in black, black headphones and black earphones. She has a clear black phone case with two pictures. One picture has been seen by Atiny before. It is a picture of her dog Hades. The other picture has always been covered on pictures or in videos. Either by Moon’s hand or by stickers. But the fans know that there is a picture since the outlines are seen.
⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪
{Icons / Layout}
Moon’s layout is simple. Moon had no motivation to do anything and said that Jieun ended up doing it in the end. It does fit her vibe a lot and it is dark, which helps when Moon is working late. She really likes it but likes to tease Jieun.
⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫
[Lock- & Home screen]
Moon’s lock screen is a picture of Ateez in a stadium with the quote ‘Take me please out of the dark, take me home’. Her home screen is a picture from one of her trips to her hometown Sydney.

Moon owns five Doberman dogs. Her Doberman live with her grandparents, not far away from the dorm. She sees them almost every day and often takes them with her to schedules. They are well trained, and she has the permission of the company. They are all shelter or rescue dogs. The two dogs with cropped ears were cropped by former owners.
Disclaimer: The names/gods are not taken as accurate representation of the dogs character and in no way intended to relate to the stories of any mythology.
⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫
Hades (Greek God of the Underworld)
Hades was one of the first two dogs that Moon adopted in March of 2018. She got him and Artemis when they were just 7 months old. They were rescue dogs from an excessive breeder that hoarded animals. Moon raised him with the help of a professional trainer. He is a protective boy, and she often refers to him as the King, Boss or Dad of the others. By 2023 he is 5 years old.
⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪
Artemis (Goddess of the Hunt)
Artemis was adopted by Moon alongside Hades. The two aren’t siblings but they were rescued together. She is just as protective as Hades and also well trained. She is also 5 years old by 2023 and Moon often calls her Queen or the mom.
⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫
Asteria (Goddess of the Stars)
Asteria is another rescue by Moon. She adopted Asteria and Apollo together. They came from a hoarder household. Their owner had over 30 dogs and couldn’t take care of them all. They were a year old when Moon adopted them in June of 2020. Asteria is a sweet and loving but still well trained and protective dog. By 2023 she is 4 years old.
⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪
Apollo (Greek god of Music, Art, and the Sun)
Apollo was adopted with Asteria and is a bit shyer than the others. He can still protect and is trained well but he is more on the observing and alarming side. He basically is the alarm for the others. Apollo is also 4 years old by 2023.
⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫
Hathor (Egyptian goddess of Dancing and Music)
Hathor is the youngest of the pack and Moon got her in January 2022. She was intended as a Christmas present by her former owners, but the kids didn’t want her, so she was given into a shelter. Here Moon found her and adopted her when she was just 3 months old. The other four basically raise her together, even though she sticks with Apollo the most. By the end of 2023 she is two years old, and already well trained.

[Parents / Single Mother – Moon (Sophie) Soo-yeon & Kim Il-seong]
Moon’s mother Moon Sooyeon was born in 1969 in Sydney, Australia. She grew up with her korean father and australian-korean mother. She was an office worker and singer-songwriter in her free time.
Kim Il-seong, Moon’s father, was born 1968 in Daegu, South Korea. He grew up with his mother and a very alcoholic father. His mother left him with his father after years of physical abuse and never came back. As soon as he turned 18 he moved out of his father’s home and left South Korea. He moved to Sydney, Australia, in hopes of opening his own garage here.
In 1988 the two met at his newly opened garage, because Sooyeon’s car had broken down. They started dating and in 1990 they moved together. They got married in 1992 and in the same year their first daughter, Moon Jane, was born. Six years later, in 1998, their second daughter was born, Moon Ari.
Tragically, in 2008, their older daughter Jane died when a drunken driver swerved and hit her on the sidewalk. This caused Ilseong to fall into his father’s drinking habits. He had to give up his garage and eventually became abusive to his wife.
However, when he physically attacked their daughter in 2011, Sooyeon had enough. She reported him to the police and luckily had enough proof to get him arrested. He was charged with domestic assault and battery in the presence of a minor and physical assault of a minor. He was sentenced to 12 years in prison.
Sooyeon divorced him and in 2012 she moved to her parents, who had since moved to South Korea. Here Sooyeon tried to rebuild her life with a new job and new friends, but things didn’t go to plan here either. With the amount of trauma she carried, she couldn’t simply start fresh and move on. Everything felt overwhelming to her, and she started to have PTSD episodes. It got to the point where panic attacks and episodes kept her from working.
After speaking to a psychiatrist and going to therapy, she got prescription medication. At first it helped, but then she kept increasing the dose until she was officially addicted to the drug and kept getting it both legally and illegally. In 2013, her parents forced convinced her to admit herself into rehab and a psychiatric hospital.
In this time Sooyeon’s parents took care of Moon and she didn’t see her daughter again before 2016. She was released from rehab and the psychiatric hospital that year and moved in with her parents. They only allowed supervised visits with Moon, as it was recommended by the psychiatrist, and therefore Sooyeon didn’t see her daughter much.
It was 2018, when Sooyeon was given back most of her freedom and made a conscious effort to spend more time with Moon. They spend the next years rekindling their relationship as mother and daughter, as well as processing the tragic past.
Moon’s financial situation was always unstable. The family had times of financial comfort and times of existential fear. Especially after Sooyeon moved back home, things weren’t easy financially. Her parents, Moon’s grandparents, were retired and just about able to support themselves. Now they had to care for and finance their daughter and grandchild. It was tough. Due to this, Moon got jobs early and continued to work up to her debut.

{Sister – Moon Jane}
Moon Jane was born on the 12th of June 1992 in Sydney, Australia. She was an amazing student in school and incredibly athletic. She had a scholarship in track for college and played in a teenage basketball league on their way to fame.
Tragically, in 2008, when Jane was only 16 years old she died from getting hit by a car. She had basketball training and was on her way home at night. A drunk driver swerved, lost control over his car and crashed into her. She died at the scene and the driver was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
Moon had a strong connection to Jane and to this day she grieves the loss of her older sister. Jane’s death caused the family to break apart and Moon still wishes it would’ve turned out differently. She has talked about her sister in interviews and livestreams before and wrote a song for her as well. It did impact Moon’s view upon driving when drunk and drinking overall. Moon isn’t the biggest fan of getting drunk and she despises people who drive after drinking.
Overall, Moon’s life has been strongly impacted by her sister and although she was only 10 years old when Jane died, she still holds her in her memory.

[Maternal Grandparents – Kate Moon-Young & Moon Mal-Chin]
Kate Young, Moon’s grandmother, was born in 1952. In the same year Moon Malchin was born. These two would end up marrying and having a child, named Moon Sooyeon.
After Sooyeon and Moon moved in with them again, they spend most of their time raising Moon. Sooyeon was out working and, later on, getting high, so they had no other choice. After they helped Sooyeon get into rehab, they became full-time guardians of Moon. They never saw her as a burden, even though Moob had voiced that fear multiple times, and loved taking care of her.
They originally were against the idea of her becoming an idol. Mostly, because it meant letting go of her, but also because of their financial problems. When Moon decided to do it anyway and work part-time, they lost contact for a while. Moon was hurt by their unsupportive mindset, and they were hurt that she didn’t understand their worries. It took them close to a year of little to no contact until they had a conversation about it. They still weren’t the most supportive, but at least they were talking to each other again.
It was only once Moon debuted and had a more stable income that they warmed up to it. They’ve even been to concerts now. No matter how many problems they’ve had, Moon will always feel grateful to her grandparents. They had taken on the difficult task to finance and raise her when both parents weren’t able to anymore. They were there and loved her, that is all that matters to Moon.
A/N: The shown outfits aren’t the entire depiction of her style, but they are a collection of outfits she wears or would wear.
⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫
#Everyday
{techwear, suits, colorless}
Moon’s entire style is mostly masculine. She likes tech and darkwear, but she also loves wearing suits. Her entire closet is black, leaving little to no space for any colors.
⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪
#Work & Interviews
[leather, suits, cropped tops]
For work Moon likes to dress the same way. She likes cropped tops, showing off her defined abs, and leather jackets. Whenever she does wear suits to work, she makes them look messy instead of fancy. It fits her aesthetic very well.
⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫
#Workouts & Practice
{sports bra, sweatpants, black}
Moon loves to work out. She has developed defined abs and impressive muscles. She loves to wear clothing that show off her body, since she worked hard for it. Her go to outfit is a sports bra and some kind of sweatpants. Maybe she puts a jacket on as well.
⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪
#Airport
[baggy shirts, sweatpants, bras]
To airports Moon mostly wears sweatpants paired with either baggy shirts or bras, depending on the weather. The first time she showed up in a bra, the internet went crazy. She didn’t care. It’s comfortable, so why should she care?

Moon feels like gentle power. The adrenaline that rushes through your body, that is Moon. The goosebumps that cover your skin when you stand up for yourself, that is Moon. The shivers down your spine when you protect someone else, that is Moon. She is the voice you find when you speak up for yourself the first time. Moon is late night talks about how life is shit. She is, sitting in the studio 'till early in the morning, producing songs all night. Moon is the feeling when you finally do something you had wanted for a long time. She is the rush of motivation when you work out for the first time and the rising confidence when you keep on doing it. Moon is the sore muscles after pushing your own limits. Moon is the heavy feeling in your chest when you see a friend be mistreated. Moon is feminine rage. But she is also the girlfriend that sings you songs with her guitar. The girl that buys you friendship rings. The girl that cries over a friend achieving what they had dreamed about. 'You did it all by yourself. I was just watching from the sideline, knowing you could do it,' she explains, smiling at your achievements. Moon is the feeling of accomplishment. The feeling of success. Moon feels like power. Gentle yet strong.
