Thinking about how my beloved author of aoab Miya Kazuki is probably unaware of the power of her work. Because now there's a teenager girl who bases her HS essays on Rozemyne, writes biology reserches of washi, reconverts to Christianity to get the name Sylvester, does her hair like Rozemyne, and follows crafts instructions in the books like they're some kind of holy research.
Just your average otaku to oshi behaviour. I also almost poisoned myself making the washi.
This was mostly inspired by the latest episode of Ascendance of a Bookworm, and also by me remembering that I am also a fan of Apothecary Diaries~ (and it has been too long since I've drawn anything from that)
The English translation of Ascendance of a bookworm just started selling in my country, and gods, I just realised how glad I am to be alive. I'm also just about to restart my fourth reread so this is literally the perfect timing.
The middle school me who randomly got into the Ascendance of a bookworm light novels definitely wouldn't expect that today I would be writing my 20 pages of highschool biology research papers on history of washi/paper.
Also I can literally fail the year if I don't hand it in, but guess what, I've been procrastinating through both of the semesters.

While I assume most know that Traugott is cousin to Karsted's children (ignoring teh half-sibling situations), I don't think we talk enough about Leonore and Hartmut being cousins as well, or how Sylvester's grandfathers are full siblings (not even half brothers).
But there's someone even better. That's Elvira.
Elvira's mother is Leberecht's (Hartmut's dad) full cousin, but also Karsted's cousin.
That would make Elvira Traugott's, Nicoulaus's, Hartmut's and Leonore's second cousin. But it doesn't end there, she's also Karsted's second cousin and Sylvester's as well.
The whole family tree technically makes almost everyone second cousins, but these were my favourite.
The entire nobility of Ehrenfest are related and it's incredibly funny, its honestly surprising there's no inbreeding problems with these people.
Hell, Aub Adelbert was going to marry his half sister and no one was going to say anything. These people are lucky Gabriele came to this place to bring some non incest DNA into the mix.
