Waiting In Vain - Bob Marley
Oil by Davy Evans
Created by shooting household chemicals reacting in water with oil, for a brief which looked in to the forever impending oil crisis.
“It is said that between 2030 and 2050 the worlds supply of oil will fall below the level required to meet international demand”

Watch:
Wall Painting by Ian Davenport
Ian Davenport’s work is created by pouring household gloss paint on MDF or aluminium sheets and tipping them as the paint runs across the surface. When dry the glossy paint is so shiny viewers to see their own reflection within the colourful bars.
“Central to their success is the point at which they nearly go wrong: the tension of a fine line where colours kiss. They a have presence, the power to transform the room they inhabit, giving a different perspective to the space that surrounds them.”

Asobi by Yasutoki Kariya
This is a mesmerising piece of work which art student Yasutoki Kariya created for his senior thesis exhibition. Aptly being dubbed the Edison Cradle, this revised version of the world famous Newton’s Cradle uses 11 computer programmed light bulbs to visualise the transfer of kinetic energy.

Must Watch:
Be kind whenever possible. It is always possible.
There is no need for temples, no need for complicated philosophies. My brain and my heart are my temples; my philosophy is kindness.
Sometimes one creates a dynamic impression by saying something, and sometimes one creates as significant an impression by remaining silent.
To conquer oneself is a greater victory than to conquer thousands in a battle.
Through violence, you may ‘solve’ one problem, but you sow the seeds for another.
My religion is very simple. My religion is kindness.
Today, more than ever before, life must be characterized by a sense of Universal responsibility, not only nation to nation and human to human, but also human to other forms of life.
Whether one believes in a religion or not, and whether one believes in rebirth or not, there isn't anyone who doesn't appreciate kindness and compassion.
With realization of one's own potential and self-confidence in one's ability, one can build a better world.
Still feel like trying though :)
