Also, I read this so long ago I'm soooo excited to read the rewrite!! When it comes out, would I have y'all permission to print and hard cover it like a book (as I did it will the old one lol, and now I can have a collection!) HELLO?? You made TH Legacy's chapters?? Into a book?? That is the coolest thing omg, you absolutely have our permission to make the Rewrite into a book once it's released enough! If we may be so bold, every 4 arcs of TH is a season, which would make a great length/satisfying arc for a book~
Depending on how many you'd want to divide it into, of course!
Also could... Could we see the Legacy book(s) (you can use the 'submit' button on the desktop page OR post it and tag it with Freckledot's Archives!)? The fact that that exists is. Insane to us. We didn't think so many people followed the old version!

Anyways-

Finally finished it. Idk- human AU of White and Orange has just been my itch lately. So here is some facts/kinda what happens in their story:
- Orange Diamonds human name is Oriana Martinez
- White diamonds human name is Winnifred Diamanté
- The age gap between them is 14 years (they met when Oriana was 31 and Winnifred was 45)
- Oriana was the daughter of a former model who gave up modeling after she got pregnant with her. Her mom then tried to pressure her into modeling but she hated it.
- However when she is in college, she realizes she is broke and needs money so she returns to modeling because it’s something she knows how to do.
- Cue working for Maison des diamantés- first as a model and then eventually when she graduates and wants to quit, gets offered a job in the financial area by Yellow (Renamed Yelena)
- Eventually gets a position for Winnifred as her assistant- after Winnifred recognizes Oriana as an old model/and discovers her secret about her mother.
- Very taboo- but develop a relationship eventually.
Okay now into their actual marriage- since they do end up married:
- At first it’s a good marriage- they married under the table/eloped and didn’t tell a lot of people. They are so nonchalant in public with one another that people wouldn’t even guess they are married. The only signifier is their matching wedding bands.
- Winnifred is gone a lot of the time, so when she is, Oriana fills in for her in the home office/handles PR or decisions in her stead
- Even at one point they contemplate having kids together because Winnifred feels bad she is always gone and Oriana is left alone- but Oriana would feel guilty if she had kids just to appease her own loneliness 😬
- And then Pink (Who is renamed Pheobe) goes missing. Her dissaperance is extremely mysterious, as it’s believed she was kidnapped but no clues ever lead to anything/her case goes cold. Phoebe was the little cousin of Winnifred, who it deeply affected. After that- Winnifred pulled away from Oriana/their marriage starts to kinda fall apart
- Despite their relationship going downhill, they remain married because Oriana didn’t want to prove her mother was right (who thought the marriage would fail), and Winnifred was adamant that would be her last marriage/still cared for Oriana (Winnifred had been married when she was younger but got a divorce).
- A bit nsfw, but every time they fight they just end up sleeping together- so sometimes, either of them just go looking for a fight so they could hook up (this is after their marriage is falling apart)
- surprisingly, neither ever cheat on one another- though it def crossed both their minds (again- they are toxic lesbians)
- Eventually somehow end up deciding to do IVF/have a kid after they both open up about the distance in their relationship- both think having a kid will fix it 😬
Now onto their kids cause they end up having two kids in the end (on “accident”):
- Does IVF, and low key expects it to fail (especially Winnifred’s eggs) but they end up with two fertilized eggs.
- So yes, the twins are still twins but they are fraternal twins (two seperate eggs that developed) not identical twins.
- Winnifred stays home a lot more/works from the main office a lot more so that she can be around her kids- which is prob what helps the most in Oriana and Winnifred relationship
- Oriana stays home at first, but slowly the roles reverse where Winnifred stays more at home as the twins get older and Oriana starts to work more.
- Marriage does kinda get better from that point- but def should not have been the thing to fix it 😭👍
- Oriana is very much the more lean back/nurturing mother who takes her time with the kids/ gentle parenting basically. Winnifred is much more “old fashioned” and is more strict- thinking that structure and schedule is what they need. Somehow their parenting styles end up in a good middle ground where they are constantly compromising with one another/ having to work together.
- somewhere after the girls turn 12, they do “fall back in love”/ get back to where they were and act more lovey/in love with one another and like an actual married couple

The last chapter 5 was amazing, and I love how the future White appeared and is now talking to the rejuvenated White in her head! Would y'all be interested in an AU where the ancient hero is the reincarnation of the beast's spouses?
Basic information for this AU: When the Beast was created, the witches decided to make them a partner to keep them in line and essentially be their support, their entire existence revolving around being the Five Virtues/Saviors' supporter. Of course, that didn't last long. We all know what happened—everything went wrong, all the cookies turned out awful, and the trauma piled up. They still became the Beast and were trapped in the Silver Trees. However, in this AU, the spouses die in different ways, and the trauma is much worse.
When the witches created the Souljams, they looked at the corpses of the spouses. What do you think they did? Did they leave it alone? Nope! In fact, they decided to crush the bodies into fine crumbs and mix them into other dough, which would eventually become the Ancient Heroes. So, in a way, it's technically reincarnation. The Souljams choose these new forms because of the whole "reincarnation of the dead spouses and soulmates" angle.
Basically, the entire AU is just playing on the "dead wife" trope!

Back in 2018, I created my own Diamond OC for Steven Universe. I drew her like 2-3 times then forgot all about her until recently. I got the idea to redraw her and her Pearl and sort of locked in for a while, as I wanted to expand on the AU a bit more. So here's the lore of Violet Diamond.
She represents the exhausted eldest daughter of a toxic household. Violet had developed the same core beliefs as the Crystal Gems long before they became a thing. She had grown to deeply dislike Homeworld's customs, which was a major factor in her decision to leave. The only Diamond she was still on good terms with was Pink.
Her gem was meant to be on her neck but it turned out goofy, so I had it reflected on her Pearl. Although Violet left Homeworld with most of her Division, she kept contact and her contributions at the bare minimum, so her symbol was still present. Her absence was felt thanks to her appearances being so rare.
Her throne was empty while her original ship was left abandoned. Because of her own powers regarding Negation, White's powers don't work on her, so Violet didn't have to worry about falling to her control.
Before leaving Homeworld, her first 4 planets were fully colonized. In time, the colonizations significantly reduced with each planet until the next 6 were left alone. Violet became a conservationist instead, appreciating the natural beauty of those worlds even if they weren't inhabited. I included the original 2018 version for comparison.
Violet would return to Homeworld for the first time in thousands of years for the events of 'The Trial'. She'd be addressed as either the 'radiant' or 'shimmering' Violet Diamond. Her Pearl would record the trial. On an extra note, Violet would have no hostility toward Steven, but more of a calm curiosity. To her, his presence was very similar to Pink's. Everything about the shattering felt off and suspicious to her, and she only ever shared those thoughts with her Pearl in private.
All Violet wanted was answers to what really happened, so she was left at an absolute loss when Yellow poofed the Zircons in retaliation.
As she's still not on speaking terms with White, Yellow, and Blue, Violet would take her leave soon afterwards to gather her thoughts.
And this is everything I got so far. I'll include an update if I decide to add more stuff in the future.
