Ghost King's Bride-To-Be-To-Be

If Danny knew what awaited him upon ascending to being the Ghost King, he probably would have tried to find a way to abdicate. Honestly, he had expected the job to be mostly ceremonial with maybe an occasional mediation to oversee. After all, in the billion or so years that Pariah had been sealed away the Infinite Realms had become more or less capable of running without a single centralized ruler.

Unfortunately for him, even if he had no plans on utilizing the power and authority of his position, it didn't mean he didn't have that power and authority. Nor did it mean other people didn't want access to them. And the best way to do that without having to pick a fight with him was by becoming his Queen.

Prospective brides from across the multiverse crawled out of the woodwork before he could even spend a single night in his new castle. Goddesses, demigods, greater demons, powerful spirits, legendary mages or representatives of such people and more arrived at his castle every day.

Hestia (DanMachi), a Goddess of the Hearth Ishtar (Fate/Grand Order), a Goddess of Beauty Queen Marika (Elden Ring), a Goddess of the In Between Raven (DC Comics), the eldest daughter of the Demon God Trigon Illyana Rasputin (Marvel Comics), the Queen of Limbo Charlie Morningstar (Hazbin Hotel), an Heiress of Hell Hylia (Legend of Zelda), a Goddess of Light and more... So. Many. More.

The pure number of offers he had to field and the women he had to deal with was driving him insane! How was he even supposed to turn any of them down without pissing them off? Or pick one without enraging the rest? He was not cut out for this!

I don't really post or reblog much, but seeing as I already commented on this I figured I might as well double down:

One of the comments suggested that Danny tries to pull the age card to put off having to choose a bride, and OP responded that such a thing would work... but also backfire as candidates that thought they had no chance suddenly started coming forward to use the extra time to seduce Danny. After reading that I decided to think of who could fill that description:

Rias Gremory (High School DxD), technically a Duchess Heir of Hell Sorceress (Dragon's Crown), she's a necromancer Sword Maiden (Goblin Slayer), a high priestess of a god of Justice Aqua (KonoSuba), a minor (?) water goddess with a big ego Freya (God of War), she's a mother and divorced, but she's still a high tier goddess! Palutena (Kid Icarus), I can't remember if she's a major goddess or what, but she is one! Morrigan Aensland (Darkstalkers), a Queen of Demons (Hell? Succubi? I don't remember exactly) and if you don't mind doubling up universes there is also: Emily (Hazbin Hotel), one of the upcoming Seraphim of Heaven Morgan Le Fey (Fate/Grand Order), a powerful spellcaster who has used sex to acquire power in the past Ishtar (DanMachi), a goddess of beauty and a massive bitch And probably a whole lot more than that as well. I tried to keep things to only characters with ties to some form of divinity, necromancy, or just insane levels of magical power, but I'm sure other people can come up with more.

MCU Prompt #1

Peter and T’Challa’s first interaction was... interesting to say the least. The new king of Wakanda wasn’t happy with the idea of a child soldier being used to fight Captain America and demanded proof that the so called ‘Spider-Man’ would be a viable ally. When Shuri later heard about how her brother lost an arm wrestling match with a teenager so badly that he was thrown through a table she declared all his future suits would have a built in camera because she was not going to chance missing something like that again.

Whenever a team member’s birthday comes up everyone celebrates their achievement of surviving another year by watching their own personalized blooper wheel of their most epic and hilarious heroic failures from the past twelve months. Highlights have included Robin miss judging a jump and ending up falling into a huge pot of jelly beans, Kid Flash actually slipping on a banana peel and crashing through a brick wall ala Loony Toons, Artemis’s boxing glove arrow ricocheting off a wall and hitting her in the head, and Aqualad’s reaction from when he mistook a bottle of high proof alcohol for water.

Danny takes one look at Cassandra Cain with his Soul Sight to try and figure out what it was about her and her family that tugged at his ‘Flight or Fight’ instincts and immediately falls in love.

Cass didn’t know what it was about Danny Fenton that had her instincts yelling that he was a threat, or why his stance of weary suspicion suddenly transformed into one of awed enchantment, but she was going to find out.
