Hello! I know this is probably a weird question but what is the name of those things in your header picture on the moblie app? And what is their purpose regarding autism? Im asking bc i was recently diagnosed with autism and i remember having one of these when i was younger and i played for hours with it, separating the stars and glitters from the colored bubbles again and again. Seeing these toy here cant be a coincidence. I fail to remember their name, can you help? Thank you.

Selfie Day

My friend is doing a presentation on autism and I’m helping her out. She wants a slide that’s “spot the autistic” with a bunch of pictures of autistic people (a “trick question, they all are, you can’t ‘see’ autism” kind of a thing), and we’d both really appreciate it if some of you could submit selfies (or direct us to a selfie tag!), as we don’t want to use pictures without consent and can’t use pictures of autistics we know without ‘outing’ them as autistic.

We would like some pictures in which it’s “obvious” (stimming/stim toys visible, wearing autism pride shirts, etc…), and some where it’s not.

We need them by midnight on monday, october 17th (US central time), yes, I know it isn’t a lot of time. Photo submit will be open just for selfies during this time, and any selfies submitted may be posted (add the ‘ok to post’ tag!)
