late summer / early fall thoughts
in my town the blackberries ripened in June. It was too hot to cook with them and we needed the limited freezer space so we couldnt save them as well as we wanted and the heat attracts flies which spoil them quicker.
In parts of the world, wildfires rage every summer, getting closer to the towns each year. In many places this is never reported.
Food is spoiling quicker than it can be eaten. Forests are burning quicker than they can be planted. People make money quicker than it can ever be spent.
Never let anyone convince you this is normal.
