She should know this…She should know that going down this hole isn’t going to take her back home. She’s not dumb. Yet she stands very close to the edge. She wants to go home. There’s so many unfinished business she has to get done and being stuck here is not an option. Corvus should know that there is no way back home unless those who brought her here decided otherwise. ONLY then would she be able to return.
They don’t want her to go and that’s why she’s stuck here. There’s no escape…
and yet….here she stands very close to the edge.
She can’t see anything down there. There’s no sign of ground. It’s a bottomless pit it feels like. It feels like something could just pull her down from where she stood and Corvus inches toward. The crow flies overhead, cawing. That caw echoes and sounds as if overlapping before fading.
This won’t take her back home and yet….she can only hope she’s wrong. With that hope in hand, she unhesitatingly leaps into the hole in the middle of Spirale.

From the first moment he had woken up in Spirale, Lucifer had been curious about the hole in the middle of the city. After a couple of weeks gathering all the information he could find about the place - which wasn’t much - he decided to see it once more.
Lucifer stood on one of the platforms, looking down. Such a strange sensation... Nothing he had ever felt could compare to it, even after all the millennia he had lived until now.
He glanced away when he felt he couldn’t look it at any longer. This was when he noticed a girl, a few platforms away. He couldn’t say if she was human or not, but it didn’t matter for him either way.
Still, he was surprised when she jumped. Not by the action itself, but how she looked like when falling. Her dark hair flew and Lilith was the only thing that crossed Lucifer’s mind.
Lucifer jumped off the platform on the same instant, beating his four black wings to gain speed so he could reach her. Lucifer remembered clearly when they fought the Celestial Wars, and how Lilith fell when she was hit. When she was falling for her death - and Lucifer couldn’t do anything to help her. And that was all he could see when this girl jumped.
He grabbed her on his arms, holding her close, now using his wings to motion them upwards. For a moment, Lucifer thought he wouldn’t make it. His wings felt weak, every movement he made felt strange, like he was underwater... Like a bad dream. His mind was clouded and drowning with anguish.
Lucifer beat his wings harder. As they moved up, he started to feel better. It was not effortlessly that both of them stumbled back into the platform, arms and wings intertwined as Lucifer collapsed after the effort. He moved over, still lying over it, trying to regain his breath when he finally took a longer look on the girl he had just saved.
“... Might I ask what were you trying to accomplish?”
