Much like with last time I left Tumblr and came back, I decided to make a new account to have a fresh start! I love seeing the nostalgia on here and seeing new posts from old blogs I loved, but it feels too clogged. So, I’m moving blogs! I may log on here occasionally to see what’s going on, but as of right now, dumbella-duck will be where I’m logged on!
i don’t really like asking for help but since i just got another medical bill mailed to me (because of my early doctor’s visit) and i’m really debating hard to open up 3 or 4 more commission slots (really debating here).

Sharing this on behalf of my friend Maki, who's in a tight spot - their manual wheelchair is not remotely fit for their needs, making their life much harder and more painful than it needs to be. They urgently need to replace it - but the UK benefits system is not gonna help here.

the concept and idea of “you can always start trying to be a better person” is extremely important to me both in media and irl and i continue to be deeply deeply disturbed by the trend on this site pushing that these ideas in media are bad writing or even morally reprehensible
because theyd rather someone stay terrible or just straight up die than become a better person
from a compassionate point of view it’s deeply distressing and from a pragmatic point of view it’s outright frustrating
it’s fucked up.
