The Darkest Corners of my Mind
After a joint mission of the Brotherhood and the X-Men gone terribly wrong, Charles finds his mental walls collapsed. Confronted with the reality that his nightmares and traumas may turn into actual reality not just for him but everyone around Westchester, he makes a drastic decision, which leaves Erik to rescue the man from the darkest corners of his own mind.
The Witch Trials
Erik’s entire life is set on one goal, killing his tormentor Sebastian Shaw. The fact that people believe the likes of them, those with special abilities, evil magical creatures changes nothing about it - until he is caught by some of Reverend Stryker’s henchmen going through the towns to capture the “witches”. Erik gets unexpected help from such a witch named Charles Xavier whose entire life is set on one goal, protecting the witches in his care. But when the Reverend captures Charles, any dream of a peaceful future may require some actual magic no one truly possesses.
Bread and Circuses
Modern-day unwilling gladiator Magneto finds himself stuck with fellow mutant fighter Professor X. Though truthfully, this man is irritating Magneto to no avail, always smiling, as though this was some fun game, when it is not. Yet, Magneto may be in for some surprises when he winds up having to share quarters with the man who has the ability to freeze his opponents.
Mr. and Mr. Xavier
Charles and Erik are the perfect married couple, charming, successful and a delight at every dinner party. Yet, both are more than meets the eye. Not only are they mutants with special abilities, they are actually working for secret agencies as special agents. And that secret is so well-kept that neither one knows of the other that they actually are mutants and special agents. The happy marriage is in for some bad surprises when both are assigned to the same case and thus realize their husband’s actual occupation. And this threatening divorce may be a lot more final than most others.
Enchanted AU
In a magical kingdom, far, far away, Charles works towards his happy ending as he hopes to buy Westchester Castle from its owner, Lord Shaw, to build a school for special people like him and his sister Raven. However, misfortune strikes as Charles is sucked into another world, which is not at all that merry. It is also the home of single dad Erik who tries to balance work with taking care of a teenage boy who wants to do nothing but cause trouble. And now he is stuck with a wannabe prince from another dimension, turning his entire life upside down. This has to be a joke, right?
27 Suits
Always the best man but never the groom. Meet the best best man Charles Xavier who made it his life purpose to help his friends have the perfect wedding, with a little bit of help of his telepathy. Erik is a journalist stuck with the Commitments section, when all he wants to do is serious journalism on things such as mutant rights violations. But Charles Xavier may be his ticket out. A man who has been at over 20 weddings in a year as best man? That may be good enough a story to convince his publisher to finally do actual journalism. And the wedding of Charles’s little sister Raven and her fiancé Hank McCoy may be the perfect opportunity.
A Knight’s Tale
Erik is a feared as a knight without title or lands but with all the skills necessary to win every tourney. That is until he crosses blades with Sir Charles whose abilities, while being very different, may actually be a match to his. Erik is impossibly more irritated when the man suggests that he joins Charles’s “merry group” of people like them, those born with special abilities. And while yes, he may use some friends, Erik has a goal to achieve, and that is to take down Klaus Schmidt. And nothing will stop him, will it?
Cerebro Becomes Sentient
Five years after the events surrounding the Dark Phoenix, the Jean Gey School for Gifted Youngsters welcomes two old friends back. Charles and Erik return from Genosha to Westchester to help investigate strange occurrences in the mansion’s basement. Cerebro shut itself down and Hank has no way of entering ever since, seemingly having developed a mind of its own. And there is only one person Cerebro may grant access: Professor X.
Chatrooms
Erik didn’t just find a support group in the X-Men Chatroom. He found someone who truly understands him in the acquaintance going by the pseudonym Professor X. The man doesn’t just know him because he is a telepath but because he gets Erik in ways that he himself doesn’t. The curious thing is that his online friend dodges any attempts of his to meet in the real world. Erik seeks to find out why, whereas Professor X seeks the exact opposite.
Private Detectives
Charles Xavier, New York’s best private detective, and Erik Lehnsherr, New York’s most unwilling bodyguard to said private detective, head from case to case. Erik actually only ever joined to get to Sebastian Shaw, but somehow, the detective grew on him, leaving Erik wondering just what became of his life. And he may very well have to investigate on his own.
The Lake House
Charles is dissatisfied with his job as a surgeon, merely applying band-aids to gaping wounds instead fo changing something about the world. To get some distance for silent contemplation, the telepath purchases a beautiful lake house on the outskirt of town. Yet, curious things happen in his new home: Charles continues to receive letters from an architect named Erik. And the man claims that he lives in the same house. As it turns out, they are, in fact, but they keep writing to each other from different times.
Jazz Singer & Bartender
Charles sings at a jazz club while Erik pours the drinks. In fact, having a drink from his favorite bartender is Charles’s one reason to stay at the bar well after the closing hours. And Erik may actually enjoy not just the other man’s voice but also the conversations they have across the bar.
Return to Neverland
Erik lives an ordinary life, or so it would seem. After all, he has a secret to hide, namely the nature of his special abilities. Things take an unexpected turn when, one night, Erik is visited by fairy Charles, though he refuses to be called such, asking him to come back to the strange place called Neverland. Because, as it turns out, this magical world was part of Erik’s oh so ordinary life, making it, in fact, quite extraordinary.
Publishers
Longtime friends Charles and Erik publish their own newspaper in times of the Revolutionary War. While Erik runs the printshop, Charles speaks the truths no one else writes about, as officials on both sides exploit the likes of them, those born with special abilities, to outsmart the enemies. Charles and Erik know that this puts their lives at risk, but they won’t stop until all ink is dried out.
Sherlock Holmes AU
Erik is back in New York after his quest of finding Klaus Schmidt turned out unsuccessful. Now he needs a place to stay, and his friend Raven may just know where Erik could regroup, but staying at the luxurious Westchester mansion for free does not come free of charge after all. Because living in the mansion means keeping an eye on former infamous private detective Charles Xavier, whose stellar career ended after a tragic accident put him in a wheelchair. And apparently, not only the man’s manners turned rotten but Charles lost his hope. But Erik may end up reviving his flat mates spirit after all.
Maleficent AU
Erik is a fae who had his faith in family destroyed by the man who was supposed to be like a father to him, Sebastian. But Sebastian revealed true colors when he seized his chance to gain the throne from dying King Kurt who promised Westchester to anyone who defeated Erik of the Moors. Sebastian took his wings and thus his power alongside the throne. Erik seeks to unleash his revenge on young Princess Raven by cursing her to prick her finger on a spinning wheel spindle and fall into a yearslong slumber. A curse only true familial love can break, which Erik knows does not exist. Things take a sudden turn when he frees a raven not just from a trap but a curse put on him, revealing underneath the feathers the handsome and clever Charles. This meeting connects them in the most unexpected ways, though it is yet to be determined whether it is a happy ending story or just another curse.
Undercover AU
Erik is one of the best undercover cop New York’s ever seen. He may finally get a chance to infiltrate the inner circles of the man he swore revenge on, Sebastian Shaw. Erik is supposed to start as one of Shaw’s henchmen to help him run the infamous Hellfire Club. Erik does not expect to find a fellow undercover agent and mutant working this case, however. Charles Xavier is a telepath who gained Shaw’s trust and may have better chances to work the case, but Erik won’t be stopped. Not when it comes to Shaw. Not even whatever affection he may develop for Charles.
A Christmas Carol Retold
Factory owner Erik Lehnsherr rather spends the Christmas times in his office, the office he used to share with his former business partner Charles Xavier. Though after a tragic accident at the factory, Charles was paralyzed and Erik can’t move past his self-blame. Erik is in for a few surprises when he winds up being visited by three ghosts the night before Christmas.
Artists AU
Sculptor Erik seriously followed a ridiculously charismatic painter all the way from Paris to New York to work together with other artists in a studio. And Charles Xavier, the painter in question, was the same man who even convinced Erik to join the studio back in Paris. If that wasn’t enough of a problem, Erik finds his creativity stuck as his past continues to consume him. But it may be not just Erik who finds himself unable to move forward, which may be a surprise when speaking of a man who knows everyone’s hopes and nightmares. Life is art but can art help them move on?
Pearl Harbor AU
Charles and Erik grew up together, and despite Erik’s best efforts, they may now go to war together. While Erik is foremost concerned with the telepath’s safety, Charles means to prove to Erik that he can protect himself the same way he can protect the man who is long since more than a best friend to him. Tragedy is just around the corner when Erik is sent overseas and assumed dead after a plane crash. And that even though flying used to be their freedom.
Being Human AU
A mutant vampire and a mutant werewolf working as nurses and moving in together as flat mates is not the weirdest thing that happened to Charles and Erik. But now also having to deal with moody, foul-mouthed and amnesiac ghost Logan may put even that bit of normalcy to the test as Charles tries to help Logan move on and find his door and Erik trying to make sure Charles doesn’t kill himself in the process.
A Question of Faith
Monk Charles finds himself kidnapped from his childhood home at the monastery by a group of self-proclaimed freedom fighters for those born with special abilities, such as Charles who can hear other peoples’ thoughts. Charles is not too pleased, put in chains by their leader Erik. And while Charles to understand that the grim leader of the group possesses a noble heart, he can’t agree with the man’s wish for revenge, just like he can’t accept for certain desires Charles put away with study and prayer to resurface. Because that would be sin.
Spies of the American Revolution
Charles Xavier returns to the Westchester estate, much to the surprise of his childhood friend and now single father to two young adults Erik Lehnsherr. While Erik struggles to balance his work on the farm and dealing with a son who runs away to the city and a daughter terrified of her own abilities, Charles raises more questions than he answers. When Charles reveals that British soldiers will come to town and that he means to host them at the estate, Erik starts to get the notion that this is far from the only thing Charles is hiding. And that may not be entirely wrong.
No Reservations AU
Erik is one of the best chefs in the culinary world, impressing critics with his reinterpretation of classic Jewish dishes. Despite his success, Erik struggles with his grief over the family he lost and the grief his teenage son gives him, of whose existence he only learned of very shortly. To make matters worse, self-taught chef Charles is about to turn his life and his kitchen upside-down. Though it may not only be Erik who faces struggles of his own and it may also be that Erik is about to develop an appetite for a new kind of life.
The Oracle of Krakoa
The King of Genosha travels to the secluded island of Krakoa, seeking the guidance of its oracle who he hopes can tell him whether he should pursue the man who murdered his mother. The Oracle of Krakoa turns out to be a young man whose only company are the priests who barely speak to him, as means to preserve his purity. To the King’s dismay, the oracle only speaks in riddles, not offering the advice he sought. Though there may be more to the young man speaking the riddles as his eyes are firmly set onto the future by looking back into the past.
Castle AU
Detective Erik Lehnsherr is less than pleased when the Captain assigns him to babysit crime author Charles Xavier, desperate for some inspiration for his newest novel after he killed off the main character in his success book series.To make matters worse, the way too cheerful writer proves to be exceptionally good at solving tough cases. To make matters even worse than that, Charles soon reveals his new novel, which is basically Erik’s life story. And to make matters the worst, Erik can’t help but develop feelings for this obnoxious author.
The Man of Everyone’s Dreams
Erik does not know what to expect when he meets perhaps the most peculiar escort in the world. Because Professor X does not offer his body as a playground for business tycoons looking for an adventure, he offers his mind instead. Erik’s disappointment is all the greater when this fellow mutant won’t help him in tracking down Sebastian Shaw, an acquaintance he’s made at a party, despite the fact that the professor knows what Shaw did. Though if Eirk should understand anything from the escort’s line of work, then it is this: Seldom are things as they seem.
Horse Whisperer AU
After a tragic accident, Charles is permanently paralyzed down the waist. His horse Merlyn is also traumatized after the events and won’t let anyone near. Raven returns after she and Charles fell out of touch, but her usually forgiving and caring brother is not the man he once was. Hoping to fix some of the damage, Raven tracks down one of the few remaining horse whisperers. Though Erik Lehnsherr actually no longer takes cases. But what are you supposed to do when a guy in a wheelchair winds up on your farm one day?
Star Trek AU
Captain Charles Xavier hoped that he could spend the rest of his days trying to find new life with the aid of Cerebro aboard the USS Phoenix. Ever since a mission gone terribly wrong left his crew scattered across Starfleet ships, trying to fit in, nothing has been the same. After a horrid discovery, Charles reports to Starfleet and is assigned the mission of investigating the strange occurrences in the Beta Quadrant. But not only is he assigned a mission, he is also assigned a guide, and that is no one other than his former captain and best friend and current leader of a rebel mutant group, Erik Lehnsherr...
The Ghost in the Machine
When Erik breaks into the government’s headquarters to find incriminating information on the mutants who have suffered under Project X, he does neither expect to be discovered nor to wind up taking one of the prototypes for their new service holograms along by accident. What Erik expects even less than that is for the hologram, X as he calls himself, becomes more and more real to him even though X is just a piece of technology. Or is he?
Pygmalion AU
In a steampunk world, Erik started building a robotic acquaintance to keep him company as he desperately tried to build a robotic version of his mother. The result was Charles, who soon grew to be more to Erik than just a robot. For years to come, Charles became Erik’s only true friend. Erik kept rebuilding Charles’s body, but trouble is ahead when the unchanging part of Charles, the heart piece, starts failing to keep the engine of the now adult robotic body running. Erik is desperate to fix it while Charles is desperate to ensure that Erik comes to terms with the inevitable. But will a last kiss make him into an actual man or is it already past the time to bid farewell?
French Kiss AU
Charles is shocked when his fiancée Moira breaks up with him over the phone while on a business trip in France. Not ready to give up on their engagement and shot at normalcy (a rare thing for a telepathic mutant), Charles buys a ticket to France to talk to Moira and resolve the issue. Even if that means suffering through a flight full of people having dull but very loud thoughts all at the same time. To make matters worse, he meets Erik, a grumpy mutant who is only concerned with the vineyard he wants to build. And before anyone knows what’s going on, both men find themselves travelling through France together and things start to get complicated going from there...
The Man in the Iron Mask AU
Charles is stuck in a prison cell on a a barren island amidst the ocean, forced to wear a metal mask for longer than he can remember. Life takes a sudden turn when a priest-not-a-priest named Erik shows up and instead of listening to his confessions brings a dead body in a metal mask to exchange for him. Charles is introduced to his saviors, renegade members of the infamous Musketeers. They plot to overthrow King Sebastian Shaw - and put Charles in his place. Because, as it turns out, the past Charles can no longer remember is the key the Musketeers see for a better future for the country. But Charles is unsure whether he is the ruler they see in him and whether he wants to be King. After all, he soon develops a taste for a very different life, for the man who gave him freedom. But will he have to accept a new mask for the sake of the people?
Far and Away AU
Erik seeks vengeance on Kurt Marko and is prepared to die for the cause. What he is not prepared for is finding an unexpected ally in Marko’s stepson Charles, who is like him, born with special abilities and hating that man. The two work together to get to the Americas to take part in the Land Run in Oklahoma to claim a stake on a stretch of land to build the school for special children Charles dreams of. However, making one’s luck in America is not at all what they advertise it to be, and soon, the two men find themselves caught in a struggle for survival and their growing bond in jeopardy as misfortune is just around the corner...
Runaway Jury AU
Bolivar Trask and his team are sure that they will win the case against Moira MacTaggert to finally start the Sentinel Program and complete years of work to finally rid themselves of the mutant threat. Trask has his tag team, specialized in affecting a jury’s verdict, right on target. Though things don’t run smoothly. First they have an unwilling man on the jury called Jakob Eisenhardt who does not appear in any of their research and then they get a phone call from a man who calls himself Thomas Malory, offering either party the verdict for the small amount of ten million dollars. Though it may seem that Bolivar Trask should know better who the two are, as they met in another life under, to put it mildly, not the best of circumstances...
Robin Hood AU
Erik Longstride, a man without a past and no prospect of a future, deserts after the death of King Richard. While on the run, he observes the murder of Lord Kurt Marko and his son who were tasked to deliver news of the king’s demise. To get safely to England, he assumes the lord’s identity, though he wants to deliver the lord’s sword to his family. Most unexpectedly, his stepson Charles seems to show little love for the lord, much more worried about losing Notthingham. And perhaps even more unexpectedly, Charles proposes a daring plan to pass Erik off as his stepbrother Cain. Not knowing where else to turn, Erik agrees, only to discover that he is not the only one born with special abilities but also that he may change something for the better for them and Charles as the local legend Robin Hood...
Pacific Rim AU
Erik never wanted to get inside a Jaeger again ever since the Cuba incident, but here he is, supposedly to climb back into one of those machines, and that wiht his former co-pilot who should have no business getting inside a Jaeger again after he was permanently paralyzed. But say about Charles Xavier what you want, you can’t accuse him of complacency. Because Charles has a plan to finally close the Breach - and for that, only Iron X is of use, as Iron X is the only Jaeger with Cerebro, which may enable Charles to communicate with the Kaijus and force them into retreat. But can they achieve such an impossible thing when they can’t even seem to be able to repair their relationship...?
Royalty AU
When King Erik arrives at Westchester castle in search for a bride, he does not expect to meet perhaps one of the most unconventional royal pairs he ever met. Princess Raven is a pleasure to be around with, but her brother Charles with his odd rules strikes Erik as a curious case, hiding something he cannot yet guess. But he can’t much care about it. As the only elected king among those royals deciding over the fates of the people, Erik since understood that a marriage to a highborn princess is the only way he can become a fully accepted member in those circles and thus ensure the safety of his people. But he is in for a number of surprises as he discovers some many truths about the Prince of Westchester, and along the way, about himself...
