Her name is Agnes and they were colleagues back in uni where Dejan was studying biology and bestology (basically zoology but about mystical supernatural creatures that exist in their world) while she studied neurology, and the matched freakkkk
Neither understand moral limitations, anything goes for "science", so they worked together on some projects :))) They also sort of dated across the years, mostly very pragmatic hookups because they were eachother's best options, until once in the uni's reasearch team Dejan starts working with Cole, who's sooo charming and a flert and is giving him more attention Agnes ever did (she had more pressing matters than entertaining a man).
So Dejan ends up leaving the reasearch team, mostly so he can do whatever he wants instead of doing things the "right" way, and Cole moves in with him. Spoiler alert, Dejan's a SHITHEAD who only takes said attention and doesn't return it, so they only get worse <3
