It’s because Israel is a participating country, and Palestine is not - and every country has fans in the audience that will wave their country’s flag. Israeli flags at this event are not politically motivated - they’re specifically showing support for their song to win a song contest. But people waving a Palestinian flag WOULD make it a political statement, as there is no Palestinian entry to be cheering on.

Eurovision is just trying to keep the contest from having politics mucking it up. Considering the idea behind the contest is supposed to be to bring countries together in friendly competition - similar to the Olympics - it makes sense that they would want to keep out something that would only be there to cause disruption and divide people up.

Let people enjoy a thing that’s supposed to be fun; there are a million other places/ways to show support for Palestine.

Hey all. I’ve been hiding under rocks for awhile now, but I’m trying to coax myself out to do some actual work every now and then before I disappear to holidays-with-the-family. And then promptly go back to hiding to recover.

Anyway I was thinking of doing some items for the Aymas thread as warmups throughout the next week or so, but beyond ‘Murica-focused Christmas with a dash of Catholic upbringing, I don’t have a clue what to make. I guess basically if you want to see a not!Christian item in the upcoming event and have a specific thing you want to see, but not the art-mojo to make it happen for yourself, hit me up and I’ll see what I can do.

Pretty sure this is stolen from my custom on the right? The art wasn’t done by me, but the custom belongs to me. 

Is this against the rules on Aywas or Furvilla? 

Anyone know who the artist is for the custom on the right? It was a bred baby, but I feel like the artist should have a say in if they think this is okay or not.

I would take it to aywas staff, since they can see who the artist was, and regardless aywas holds the copyright for all pets on site, and can action if they feel it’s copied.

Not commenting on the design theft stuff, but - Aywas owns the specific artwork that is put on site, but not the actual character design itself. Otherwise people wouldn’t be allowed to bring their characters to Aywas since they’d never be able to use them again anywhere else. That’s how I understand it, anyway.
