Okay. Hot take. I don’t think Jax ran over a child. I don’t think that’s what that was about at all. Jax is characterized by escapism and deflection, refusing to admit his problems and avoiding other people’s attempts to help him. His character has never been about guilt. To add this superfluous and frankly thematically unrelated element would undermine him as a character. I personally think he ran away from home/got kicked out or something along those lines. Running away makes sense to his character and additionally his reactions to leaving the circus have always been centered around evidently not having people waiting for him on the other side. Everything in animation is intentional and with how TADC is written, it’s very clear that everything said is intentional. He has nothing in the outside world.

I was thinking about something, if the cast ever found out an exit for the circus... will they even invite Jax? After what he did last episode? (probably yes, but the angst in the fanfics can beg to differ)

SOMEONE PLEEASE TELL ME IF IM REACHING BUT.... (spoilers under the cut for the episode 7 of TADC)

I was analysing their beach outfits, mostrly because i had an impression that they where a little bit weird, like the colours didn't match their color schemes and then I realized... THEY 'RE ALL BLUE!!!

Zooble got BLUE pieces for the beach, wile Gangle got the BLUE skirt and top! I found it weird because blue isn't the color I would give her outfits... you can argue in Zooble's case but bear with me for one moment...

Pomni and Ragatha ALSO have blue outfits, Ragatha's its her normal scheme but Pomni? Where is the red in her outfit??? then I began to look more into the clothes and...

Kinger got BLUE SHORTS (it's not purple, just the shade)!!! And you guys know the ONLY person who didn't have a beach outfit?

THIS GUY!! Jax only got a blue chair (that we can compare to Ragatha and Pomni's red towels, it's not actually IN their outfits) and a RED sunshade that match his already red(or pink?) overalls!

Its crazy to think that the choice in the end of the episode would be foreshadowed like this...

Im not smart enough to unravel this color choices beyond the obvious so if someone else have something to add in this conversation I would love to hear it!

I feel like I'm usually pretty good at seeing when a room is gonna have a fight in it, but this one was the first big one to catch me off guard I think T O T... literally brought up my menu right at the start of the fight to see how emotionally distraught I'd have to be if I died (luckily I did not have many rosaries XD)
