For real tho. He was hands down murdered by the police. A lot of notable figures from Ferguson were found dead in the same manner and police labeled them all suicides which ,as we all know, is complete and utter bullshit.
If we could get statues of anyone it really is Edward Crawford. If I can get in contact with a sculptor or some shit with permission from Crawford’s family I will set up the Fund Page in a heart beat.

The OP cartnsncereal and another familiar name in this chain of post, la-gonegirl are both named in the 2018 Public record of usernames linked to state-sponsored disinformation campaigns.

The IRA CopyPasta Campaign (October 21, 2019), where they basically steal and recycle popular memes, tweets, Facebook posts to gain audience in Americans of all political stripes.
IRA in Ghana: Double Deceit (March 20, 2020) where Ghanaians are either paid and/or tricked into specifically building a Black American audience, using the same tactics as before. Similar operations of varying success and complexity are being outsourced by Russian intelligence to other African and Southeast Asian countries.
You can also still see most of the exact same tactics still being used by other cluster of shadowy blogs on Tumblr right now, albeit even more insidious.
The same tactics employed in IRA CopyPasta of reposting & recycling screencapped content without providing a source, or not having an account on the platform they’re frequently stealing from still prove true to this day (ala quiteliterallyhotsauce & co. but more advanced. Not only do they grab content from real American users, esp. targeting Black creators, they also lift conversation on the real Twitter thread from real users and paste that in volleying reblogs with other similar shadowy blogs, to appear like real people. They steal from several twitter users to construct the appearance of a real conversation.
Example: I-hate-chick-fil-a post a series of screenshot tweets from real twitter user himbojoseph. They added the commentary after the screencapped tweets: White lgbtq people LOVE to forget that black people exist in our community. This line was copy word for word from another user from the original tweet thread.
(there used to be and are still more example if you go to these blogs and look it up. Problem is, since they’ve been inactive for over a month, a lot of the tweets they screencapped or the replies they copied also have been deleted. that’s why I can’t link more atm)
I make this posts and several others which I linked in hope of warning people about these fake people/blogs, I really hope people would pay more attention to how they worked, so you can spot similar blogs like them in the future. There’s already a few suspicious ones being wildly popular right now, krxs100 for example. They’ve been building an massive audience by reblogging just popular posts about anything and everything, none of their posts have low note count. Their only original posts are the troubling, unethical and traumatizing footage of deadly police violence on Black people without trigger warning, and reblogging these posts specifically at a break neck rate several times every day (which is what quiteliterallyhotsauce, i-hate-chick-fil-a etc all used to do daily). They also frequently call for people to follow their blog, which is weird b/c they don’t really present themselves as a news source, but a mish-mash of memes, screencapped tweets (no link to source), art, and then an obsessive, meticulous focus on police violence and anti-Black racism in the US - only these posts are organic, they even have links to legitimate sources and all of them are properly tagged.
Note: in some of the above links to the shadowy blogs, I have to link the reblogs from other people b/c some of these blogs have been deleted or suddenly went radio silent all around the same time. This doesn’t implicate the real blogs and people I link from!
