I realize something

a/ang is the co founder of republic city yet it’s councilwoman katara who constantly stays to run republic city while his gone weeks on end yet she’s not a founder too?!

And she’s still didn’t at least get a statue to show acknowledgement of her work?!

On another note wasn’t She literally The first one Who brought up the concept of people from the four nation living all together?

I got thoughts

A/ang’s leaves katara home alone long period of time meaning she has to pick up the majority of the political duties while a/ang’s gone governming republic city along side the council.

A/ang’ being gone for weeks means katara usually is the political representative of republic city zuko is dealing with the most when visiting. ( I bet zuko even have his own guest room where a/ang and katara’s home)

No wonder people in atla world still think they are a couple. With their deep shared bond and what transpired in the final Agni Kai who wouldn’t)

A/ang has the audacity to be insecure when that’s his own fault. ( it’s giving I’m rarely home, leaving my girl home alone I fear she’s might be cheating because of it type energy)

Like sorry zuko takes effort even though he runs a whole country to vist while a/ang chooses to leave her behind

Imagining katara telling a/ang all about what she and zuko been up to together while he’s been gone and a/ang is just seething in the inside

Going with what I said about how it would be cool and thematically appropriate to see Katara become the Painted Lady to protect Fire Nation refugees living in the Earth Kingdom...

The sequence of clips we see in the trailer is:

1) The Blue Spirit kicking someone

2) Jet brandishing his double hooks

3) The Painted Lady emerging from the mist

So what if we get Jet attacking Fire Nation refugees and Katara trying to protect them without realizing that the refugees in question are Iroh and Zuko?

I'm already writing the fanfiction in my head...the POSSIBILITIES

It would be even better if there were mix earth kingdom and fire nation families, couples disowned and ostracized for choosing to love someone from enemy nations at war or war children born form horrible Circumstances who were abandoned and also ostracized because of it( and those are supposedly the‘lucky ones’ who weren’t killed after being born).

Sozin began colonizing the Earth kingdom years before he started the 100 year war yet atla barely touched on these subjects, hopefully natla does. 

I know in atla when the gaang were in the fire nation the citizens immediately assumed they were from the colonies but that’s as far they went on that subject.
