Hi Everyone! Today we are bringing up a different topic.

Hi Tumblr friends, We are a small creative family living in Portugal, and we're currently going through a really difficult time. I'm Hungarian, my husband Nuno is Portuguese, and together we're raising our 5-year-old son Elliot, who is nonverbal and autistic. Nuno is an artist making traditional Portuguese tiles (azulejos) by hand, and I clean homes to support us — but right now, even basic needs like food, therapy for our son, or birthday gifts are hard to afford.

Yesterday was the national day of Azulejo - celebration of traditional Portuguese tiles — and was the perfect moment to reflect on the past year.Our business, Azulejos Castelo Branco, began in April 2024, and since then, we’ve achieved so much. From designing our own patterns to opening our Etsy shop, and bringing life into the homes of those who entrusted us with custom commissions — it’s been a rewarding journey.These achievements may seem like small steps, but for us, they’re meaningful milestones.
