This piece is vent art as I was suffering from burn out two days ago Below is my description/dissection of how I was feeling and what went into the art piece

A few days ago I was dealing with severe burnout that was making me very depressed beyond all belief. I went on walk in one of the forest trails near my home to burn off some steam. it helped...to an extent

the walk (2 miles deadass) at least got me to a neutral state but during that walk I was listening to two songs that somewhat brought my mood up Moonsetter

and the unknown title one that is off brand Erik Satie - Gymnopédie No.1

After a long day running around and taking a nap, this drawing formed in my mind and I did something I haven't done in years, draw from real life. I tend to draw whatever comes to mind as Ive so many ideas but Ive been getting burnt out too fast lately and I would draw less

And that burnout was really killing me on the inside. I dont feel any better rn but I def dont feel as bad as I did two days ago. I do feel some accomplishment from drawing something after weeks of inactivity/disatisfaction

But of course the main subject of my thoughts during my walk was Hisashi, he is 1/2 characters I tend to vent with when im feeling bad. I was imagining him playing the piano/going on a walk through scenery such as this so he is in the background in the distance

with this piece also I experimented heavily here, messing around with a brush in PS. I was dotting the hell out of my tablet to add the multiple colors/highlights/shadows. it was meticulous enough to allow me to finish without becoming unsatisfied midway and dropping the piece

Either way I was able to pull myself out from the dumps, still dealing with burnout but im no longer in the depressed pit. Im 'satisfied' for now...

PN - Tebben Squish

Tebben Squish is just a big guy that wants to chill and snuggle. He is a lot more relaxed than the other Pool Keepers near him. He does try to pacify others by comforting them about their issues, he is jolly and does his best to help. A hug from Tebben is described as being smothered with a massive warm blanket and you feel safe from the cold outside world. His medal is a small brown dog with an orange chew toy.

PN - Kiba Crystal

Kiba Crystal is one of the Pool Keepers in my story Pool Neighbors. Kiba is just a Pool Keeper that handles his business and doesn't bother anyone, he hangs out with Kefa Fabric on occasion but he prefers to spend his tie maintaining the Universe Pool. It is an odd or a very important occasion if Kiba appears outside of his room.

Nigel is like Rico from Penguins of Madagascar, he throws up explosives periodically but if he doesn't after a while he will just cough them up like a cat with a hair ball

How to make them into a GIF:

Step 1. Edit the base however you like (I used MSPaint)

Step 2: Crop and save each frame individually as PNGs (Note for the lick base: It's best to crop them to include the black boarder. This makes the GIF 50x50, which is the standard DeviantArt icon size and can easily scale larger if need be.)

Step 3: Go to ezgif.com/maker and upload all your frames

Step 4: Set "delay time" to 10, then click "Make a GIF!"

Step 5: Right-click the result and save it. Congrats! You used a GIF base!

Redrew Arenanta (and gave her a name), took a lot of messing around witht he position, anatomy, details, and rendering but I got a very satisfying piece here.

Arenanta is the first unicorn to exist in world, she was born when (as a mare) was struck in the head with electrified wood that broke off in the midst of a fight with two dragons. She is a beast born of malice and hatred towards dragons for her new immortal existence, her death, and the massive destruction they cause. She is difficult to reason about her opinion on dragons and only wishes to end them to allow life to prosper. Only her mortal mind will not nor will she try to understand the natural aspect of dragons and their importance, she is blinded by her misery and is lashing out on the ones that cause it. A barren mare that could not raise a foal, dies, and is reborn a creature that gives to birth to beasts that will destroy all of dragon kind on the planet.

Arenanta's name is composed of two names of gods

Ares (Greek, mythology): God of war, brutality, and bloodshed

Ananta (Indian, Hindu): One of the names of Vishnu, God of infinite

Arenanta's name would mean infinite war and bloodshed, beast of destruction

here is a comparison with the first design I made in 2022 and the new design that is current. definitely a lot more open space and exaggeration on the anatomy on the 2022 one as I wasn't as good at horse-like anatomy yet here, now that I'm better I wanted to take a crack at it again
