Hey. I just wanted to let you know I'm going on an involuntart grippy socks vacation. Every time I hear those words I think of you. If you have any tips for surviving pls respond I'll be looking out. You probably won't know who I am but I think it's better that way.

well I do wish you the best. in my experience, READ ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING THEY HAVE YOU SIGN. ASK QUESTIONS ABOUT THE THINGS YOURE SIGNING. don't keep contact with the people you meet in there, go to the scheduled classes on time, don't sleep in or stay up late, eat your meals at meal time, participate in the class activities, self deprecating jokes are generally off the table unfortunately lol, as long as you're comfortable with it obviously - take any meds they give at pill time. don't be afraid to ask for things you might need like more toiletries or socks (lol).

my experience was very structured and routine based. so idk for sure if that's how other facilities are.

I appreciate the concern, anon! I'm surprised anyone even remembered I'm in Ohio lol. thankfully I'm not near the derailment though. I am worried about the water and air quality since the wind has been wild recently. but I'm fine, just worried is all.
