Aight. So IMAGINE. Some rando supervillain in Gotham (God knows they have too many) creates this gas in an experiment which makes every intense feeling and words you've swallowed or shoved down to resurface and like you can't control it , okay? So obvi each batkids has at least one go with it.
So..... I'm sure dick would start sm like his✨renegade (slade's sidekick) era ✨ again. Bruce had never gotten so much chuckled at him - from sauce pans to the washing machine (don't ask me how 😭). Jason has never been loved more and he's weirdly annoyed by it. Tim and damian are legit terrified by dicks (occasional) outbursts but the others are all used to them from dicks early Nightwing era and from before and a little after jason's death.
Jason is surprisingly well adjusted. He isn't sobbing or angry or anything. If anything, he's more emotional and protective. He's weirdly mother-hennish except for a few rows with dick and Bruce.
Damian is..... Well. obviously he sobs and screams for a bit (read: a few hours) , throws so much stuff, and then all emotion turns into anger. Anger at having his childhood stripped away, anger at being turned into a weapon, anger at the hell he's been through, anger at bruce for not saving him. There's quite a bit of angst and a WHOLE lot of pain.
Tim is...surprising for everyone involved. people generally expected him to sob or whatnot. he is just so angry. AT EVERYONE. at bruce for all the year of hurt and leaving him to pick up shattered pieces. at Dick for not believing him during the time stream and all the other times he's been discarded. at jason for the tower incident, the years of being called replacement. damian is hiding out somewhere nearly in tears, scared to see the hate and anger in tims eyes at the sight of him, but surprisingly (again) tim is weirdly protective if a tiny bit emotional and mad at the start. when asked why tim answers that damian was a child straight out of a cult. he doesnt hold resentment anymore.
