My old fic masterpost is gone because it was hell to keep up and got... confusing.
So, in order to find my stuff more easily:
HERE is my list of Fanfics regarding The Magnus Archives
HERE is my list of Fanfics regarding anything Marvel related
Both lists are up to date as of February 20th, 2023
I really hope you enjoy! Also please mind the individual tags and warnings
Edit.
There have been more fics posted since, but I haven't updated this post in over 3 years. Because I am a Chaos Gremlin. Hope ya enjoy the writing though 🖤
"character deserved better" (but they were never going to get it that's the stuff great tragedies are made of) vs "character deserved better" (but the writers really blew it)
idk why people always use "fever dream" in a derogatory context because i'm still very sick and i just had the best dream ever. i was carrying a baby seal around and hand-feeding it spaghettios. it was so soft and it loved the spaghettios so much
The WHBB is a fun, relatively low-effort event, with just 7.5k words minimum for stories and flexible minimums on art and other collaborations.

RULES & FAQs

‣ Do not share portions of the fanwork in open communities/chats etc before claiming. The WHBB Discord server is the only official space for sharing your progress.
‣ Participants are welcome to sign up as both author and artist but cannot claim their own work.
‣ All fanworks need to be created specifically for the event.
Requirements for Authors:
‣ All fics must be new and unpublished.
‣ All fics must be at least 7500 words (no maximum).
‣ All fics must be beta read before publishing.
‣ All fics must adhere to AO3 guidelines.
Requirements for Artists:
‣ All creations must be new and unpublished.
‣ Any and all forms of art are welcome.
‣ Photosets/moodboards or gifsets must have at least 6 images each.
‣ Videos must be 1:15 or more in length.
‣ Mixes must have at least 8 songs and a cover.
Publishing fanworks:
‣ To be included in the wrap up post fanworks must be completed and fully posted by the end of the posting period.
‣ No extensions will be granted. We have a very generous writing period and posting period. If, however, a problem arises please contact the mods as soon as you can.
‣ Not turning in your fic or not having 70% finished when rough drafts are due is equal to dropping the event. We will send reminders beforehand, but we will not be chasing people after the fact.
‣ Not finishing a claimed fic or fanart within the event’s schedule results in exclusion from the event’s masterpost and a year-long ban from the event.

What exactly is a Big Bang?
A Big Bang is an event in which an author creates a work of fiction and an artist claims it and creates a work of art for it. Originally everything was posted on the same day thus creating a “Big Bang” of creative works. More often now people taper the posting over a period of time (though each fic and related artwork post on the same day).
Do I have to join Discord / Tumblr / other platform to participate?
Short answer - no. The only place you need to have an account is AO3 for publishing purposes (let us know if we can help with that). We use multiple platforms for the bang - Tumblr, Discord, and emails - and we ask for your usernames on those platforms just to help partners get in touch with each other (though it is up to the two of you to work out how best you will communicate). All official information will be posted on Tumblr and in the Discord server. However, mods will mostly contact you privately via email (unless in reply to your message) as emails are the most reliable way to keep track of things for us.
What pairings are allowed?
Since this is a Winterhawk Big Bang, Clint and Bucky have to be the main (and endgame) pairing. The story must focus on these two, but other side pairings are allowed as well. Threesomes including Winterhawk are not allowed.
Can I use a work created for commission / auction / Patreon reward etc for this event?
We do ask that you do not tie your Big Bang fic in with any of the above. All fanworks should be created specifically for this event. Additionally, as we are being hosted on AO3, we have to be careful in regards to the legality of money changing hands for these works.
Can I tie my Big Bang work in with a bingo event?
As long as you are making the minimums for word count or art form and the bingo is okay with you posting later in the year and open to using the work for more than the bingo, we’re cool with it too.
Can two people work on a fic?
Yes, we allow collaborations between authors so long as everyone signs up officially.
How many fics can I create?
We will allow up to two fics for this event. You will have to sign up twice to do so.
Can the story be a sequel to a story?
While we have allowed this in the past, we feel the possibility of someone recognizing who the author is by the summary, even if it doesn’t state it is a sequel to something, is too great, so, no.
What counts as art?
Art is pretty subjective, we’re happy to accept the usuals of: traditional art, manips, videos, comics and moodboards, mixtapes, and podfics. Just ask if what you’re planning isn’t listed.
How many pieces of art can we submit/fics can we claim?
We recommend pacing yourselves but will happily accept up to four pieces of artwork (so up to four fic claims per artist).
If you have any questions feel free to send an ask, message us here, ping on Discord, or you can email us at [email protected]. As a note Discord and email tend to be the quickest replies and if you send anything via tumblr and don’t hear anything within a few days please try again or another avenue as it may have been lost.
