Idk if anyone’s said this exact same thing before but I’ve seen a lot of people saying Deltarune isn’t real and the universe operates on last Thursday-ism and I think… not. Given that the dark world already isn’t real in universe and it’s a parallel to how the game isn’t real in our universe having the light world also not be real in universe kind of bungles the metaphor imo. Like there is already nothing outside hometown for us the world’s already not real it doesn’t need to be doubly not real. Hometown is definitely cut off though, the internet, the ferris wheel, the condolences until just recently. I think….. whatever Gaster bs is going on device, player all that required Hometown to be separated from the rest of Deltarune’s world to connect to this one. So no one can get in or out at this time. It’s like the world outside is actually real cause there’s no layer above it but once you introduce actual reality into the world it’s like it starts breaking or doesn’t feel real anymore. I’m probably explaining this poorly but this is just how I feel

I saw people saying Ralsei = Raziel, angel of magic and mysteries, and prince of the 2nd heaven. Because their names are kind of similar and Asriel = Azrael so why not. I don’t really think this affects anything and seems mostly coincidental to me but I do think it’s kind of funny that they both have a book you can’t get rid of.
