Our Neighborhood

Global Square g [  ] sits in between Grand and Classon Avenues on Dean Street. According to most maps we’re located in Crown Heights, but in some we’re right at the border of Prospect Heights. Travel just a few blocks north on Classon and you’ll find yourself in Clinton Hill (if you are on the West side) and Bed-Stuy (to the East).

We are joining a thriving and diverse community, where you’ll find gorgeous tree-lined streets, locally owned businesses, and several cultural institutions: the Brooklyn Museum, Botanic Garden, Children’s Museum, and Barclay’s Center. The restaurants, coffee shops, cocktail bars, and specialty shops have set the bar very high. There are also places that have paved the way for us by nurturing the local artistic community - Franklin Park, Five Myles, Launch Pad, and The Way Station, to name a few. Just a block away from us, 1000 Dean Street is about to reopen as office and studio space, with a massive food and beer hall operated by Brooklyn Flea on their ground floor. We are thrilled to add to this cultural hub by creating a performing arts space that is unique in it’s mission, distinct in size, and will attract artists who otherwise may not share their work in our community.
