The Birthday Song (Extended with Ending) | Barbie in The 12 Dancing Princesses
This is the arrangement as heard in Learn to Dance Like a Princess, featuring an extended middle and a cleaner ending than what's in the movie.
welcome to the mermaidia! 🐚
Lumina & Sunburst 🌙🦋☀️✨

Barbie: Odette fanart💖 ✨
i’m gradually working my way through every elina design at this point considering the rainbow one is the only one i haven’t drawn yet :,) i’d love to try to draw a fairytopia trilogy cover design too one day but I haven’t figured out a composition that I like so far so we’ll see!
Also I realized I accidentally participated in Mermay by drawing this so. Happy mermay!!!
When fate flips the script, all you can do is play your part 👑📖
I drew my favorite scene from the movie, the moment when the pauper has to pretend to be the princess.
A little awkward, a little funny… and a whole life on the line.
Barbie of Swan Lake Commercial (2003)

•Rainbow Elina design!
•It was the bigest change from the original costume because, to be honest, i didn't like her rainbow dress and wings at all ever since I was a kid
•So for main reference I mixed together her dresses from first two movies and sprinkled in some pastels rainbow here and here

Third part of Elina's costume redesigns
I never really vibed with dark pink dress she got at the end of Mermaidia :/
So I changed the colors a bit and tryed to mash together her first dress with her mermaid form
Liana • Alexa - Fairytopia
Mariposa • Catania - Barbie as the princess and the pauper
Clara/Marie - 12 dancing princesses
Part 1

Mermaid Elina, yay
Tweaked the design just a bit to match the dvd cover art and her dress from the first movie (I drew her in first dress here)
I love the jellyfish vibes)
Mermaidia had me in chokehold as a kid. I watched my dvd so much the disk got corrupted.

She's my favorite barbie protagonist
I want to draw all her looks from all three movies, but with my design alterations
This time she looks almost the same, this pastel pink dress is my favorite for her.
I’m probably way too late to be talking about this, but one comment I always hated when I see people discussing princess and the pauper is that Annalise should not have said that she’s “just like you” when referring to Erika because Annalise comes from a place of privilege because I feel that it ignores the context of the song. Yes, Erika is struggling far more than Annalise because she is from a much lower class, but both of them are forced into positions they hate. Both of them are fulfilling duties that go against their hearts desires, and that’s what the song is about. Additionally, I feel that it’s important to note that it is ERIKA who is the first one to say that she an Annalise are like.
Throughout the beginning of the song, Annalise is aware of her privilege. She clearly does not want to share how privileged she is when Erika asks her and Annalise replies with that sheepish “Well…” but it is again ERIKA who pushes her to share before explaining how they are alike.
Annalise is aware of her privilege and does not think she has the right to complain, but it is Erika who allows her to open up, share her desires to pursue science and her struggles of being forced to marry someone she’s never met. The girls are alike, even though they started at very different points.
“We take responsibility. We carry through, do what we need to do. Yes I am a girl like you”
classic barbie movies will always be, to me, like a good friend from long ago. no matter how many times I watch them, I always feel warm inside, like im a little girl again wondering if I could also be a princess
