✨ Cinderella (Soviet, 1979) ✨

One of the first tapes I watched over and over as a child and probably my very first source of creative inspiration.

The costumes in the animation are clearly inspired by late 17th-century French fashion, and in my artwork I decided to push that even further - with higher wigs, more dramatic silhouettes, and structured corsets.

I drew my favorite scene from the movie, the moment when the pauper has to pretend to be the princess.

A little awkward, a little funny… and a whole life on the line.

Probably my personal record for the number of characters in one artwork.

The Legend of Vox Machina didn’t hook me right away, but along the way I fell in love with the characters and their stories - so I ended up drawing them all together.

I wanted to make something very Christmassy, but this comic came out instead - quick, intuitive, made without perfectionism.

And somehow, it reflects my year better than anything else
