A sword forged in crystal, with the uncanny ability of fixing itself upon break and the ability to reform into a plethora of shapes. However, those who dare handle it will face the meddling of a watcher, a crystalline undead creature. Said being has seen the weapon pass countless of times as inheritance, and had never managed to get in proper touch with any of them. Most discarded their voice as hallucinations, or early signs of dementia. That was up until the last of the heirs got her hands on it: She saw the spirit trapped into the sword as it was, and made a pact with them, seeking their help in exchange for their eventual freedom. Neither of the two expected a deep friendship to come from such deal, though.
So, Iām going to be partaking in Swordtember! Kinda! Iāll probably just do a few as inspiration comes. For the first prompt, I decided it was time to polish the design for my partnerās roguelock sword, Ilthar'Anyeld. Cursed swords definitely benefit from curious adventurers, making Hexblades proliferate comfortably~
