Hey there, I'm Creature, but you can call me Husk. Been otherkin for years now, and always identified as a creature with Husk's general body plan, but I couldn't quite figure it out exactly. Also always been some kind of demon. I'm not sure if I've always been Husk specifically, or if his commonalities made my brain imprint onto him, depends on what you beleive in about kin sources, which I'm pretty agnostic on. Either way, I'm this bartending cat demon now, so pull up a chair and let me pour you a drink.

He comes across as grumpy bc he Cannot Do Social Interaction

HATES the Big Light, prefers warm toned lamps on the dimmer side of things

Shuffles a deck of cards as a way of fidgeting

I feel like his special interest would be magic tricks (bc his powers/fighting style is very magician coded) and he also knows an insane amount about the history and process of liquor production

Being a cat gives him more sensitive hearing than he had in life so every little sound will piss him off if he's already having a bad day

Overheats FREQUENTLY because he's covered in fur (and Hell is the approximate temperature of Death Valley half the time) and HAAAAAATES IT

This actually would explain why Husk doesn't wear shoes (or actually much clothing in general now that i really stop and think about it), I went through a phase when I was younger when I HATED having to wear shoes anywhere and preferred to walk around in my socks

Fuck the big light, makes the eyes hurt 😭 AND HE ABSOLUTELY HAS A SPECIAL INTEREST IN MAGIC!!! Pretends to be nonchalant about it but he adores performing tricks at the bar, Angel and Cherri actually really like watching them as well,,

AND THE SENSORY ISSUES loud noises are his personal hell too actually ;-; the constant static around Alastor has him on the verge of a shutdown way more than he wants to admit

And omg you’re so real for that 🙏 I only really wear boots cause other shoes piss me off and I struggle with laces. Which now has me thinking man those claws must make it impossible to tie the fuckers actually which is probs another part of why he wouldn’t wear them LOL

When he’s overwhelmed he tends to hide behind his wings,, doesn’t even realise that they’re drawn up so far unless it’s pointed out, he’s just tryna block out as much of the world as possible :,) resisting the urge to just go curl up in a ball in a dark corner, this is as close as he can get

A week straight of acid rain to it suddenly being warm again leads to shooting pains along his lower back and down his legs. Getting up each morning is agony when it feels like his limbs are too heavy to move

When he finally gets to leave the bar and go to bed, Angel will have a heating pad at the ready and, should he wish, all arms out for a massage

the pokemon move Swift is fascinating to me. a pokemon shoots stars at you and you "I bet a cat could do that." that's normal. that's Normal Type. you got Scratch, Tackle, Headbutt, and of course, shooting rays of heat-seeking stars at people.

I always thought the star animation was some sort of abstraction of whatever the move was supposed to be, but no in Japanese it's called Speed Star which also translates to Speedster so they translated it to Swift. It was always stars and that was always normal
