[I.D. Photo of chicken noodle soup being warmed up on a stove, inside a hollowed out watermelon rind. A ladle rests in the soup melon, leaned on the edge. The picture is dated 6/30/2013. End I.D.]

I asked my sister if it was normal to look at a guy and think “I wish I were gay”
she said girls do that all the time
“oh?” “yeah we look at a guy and go damn I wish I were gay.”
Testing a new mirror trick
"I asked chatgpt" "I asked grok" well I asked my local iterator and he gave me the ability to understand his words and told me to kill myself
Imagine getting introduced to new people at a dinner party and saying "oh, huh. I don't think that's a real job." out loud after hearing that someone works in an office.
Asking the real questions.

Every time I think about Pokopia's ending I need to scrunch up my face so that I don’t shed untimely tears. My favorite video game narrative this year.

Let's Rename the Birds!!! (pt. 5)
As you may already know... ornithological authorities (such as the AOS and ABA) in North America have decided, for a variety of reasons, to rename all of the birds that have been named after people.
Some examples:Â Lewis's Woodpecker, Smith's Longspur, MacGillivray's Warbler...
I thought it would be fun for us to come up with some ideas for new common names here on Tumblr.
Here are some criteria for re-naming that might appeal to ornithologists and birdwatchers:
Habitat and geographical range
Physical characteristics
Call/song characteristics
Behavior
PLEASE MAKE YOUR NAMING SUGGESTIONS IN THE COMMENTS, REBLOG, OR TAGS.
We'll take the best ideas, and put them in a poll by the end of the week! (I and an esteemed panel of ornithological tumblererrsssres will make the decisions).
WEEK 5 - Sabine's Gull
Sabine’s Gull (Xema sabini), breeding plumage, family Laridae, order Charadriiformes
Males and females are identical in appearance.
Breed in coastal regions of Alaska, far northern Canada, Greenland, and Siberia, in northern Russia.
Usually nests on tundra, near ponds.
The North American breeding population overwinters in the sea off of the Pacific Coast of southern Central America and NW South America.
They are seen during migration off of both coasts of the U.S.
Usually found on mudflats during migration, and in open ocean during winter.
They are occasionally seen in the Great Lakes and other large lakes in the US and Canada during migration.
The only member of the genus Xema.
A relatively small gull, with a max length of up to 33Â cm (13Â in)Â total length (includes tail feathers).
