saw mider-man (watched spiderman brand new day so some thoughts under cut)

no spoilers but man that was so nothingburger it changed nothing about my life whatsoever and it will be forgotten in 5 hours. genuinely what was that

im not an avid marvel watcher anymore, like i dont keep up unless i care a bit about a character (and i generally only care about spider-men and loki - the show that was so fucking bad it makes me anrgy thinking about it. i watched the 2nd season on 2x speed just to get thru it man it was so bad compared to 1st it almost made me not care about loki anymore), like post endgame i just watch random ones and before that i was just watching to keep up cause it was 50/50 but this was so marvelgpt generate me a dialogue. grok generate me a marvel villain. i hoped it would pick up after the start, felt a little bit of hope when some things happened, then a fight scene that looked good, and then it was just a whole lotta nothing. if i was actively waiting for this movie as a spider-man movies follower, id be so disappointed? and it sucks cause the last one was really good.. a lot of marvel movies i look back on and think "yes, i liked that cause i was fourteen years old." but if i watched this as a 14yo id be like what. why should i care about this. then id probably draw spider-man and [character that might be a spoiler] yaoi for a week and then dgaf anymore ever. and the post creds? that was the most lukewarm thing ever that was so fucking nothing but i do like how technically making it look like that and keeping it so vague leaves room for Anything. but it was smth expected but if its also a reason for. the other unpleasant thing then. thats lame as shit man <- too vague but i said no spoilers

more in detail abt... details, a lot of stuff was taking me out of it, namely the fucking bg characters with their scenic dance ass moves honestly i hate that sooo much i hate how unnatural people in these movies move its making me cringe or frown at minimum. like we get it youre at the pageant and youre gonna put on the best talent show this town has ever seen we get it but youre a bg character i dont give a fuck. blend in tf <- hater, but i just dont like it. i also dont like all of those flying movements where you can also imagine the pulley system there. so unnatural too its just so lame looking and ruins all fight scenes for me. i also felt like the cgi was lacking again for a 2026 marvel movie yall have so much money for this crap and you cant pay the animators more so they clean things up, like this would only look somewhat good on my mp4 player, not on the big screen, you can make photorealistic stuff but for some reason these expensive movies look unfinished? and then the story was nothing to me. i did not care about any of the characters at alllll i felt nothing until the final scene that was the only good scene. i would be content if they pushed it a lil further elsewhere but at least this was nice like a little yummy crumb after leaving me hungry for 135 minutes. anyway forgettable nothingburger 2/10 <- harsh, might revisit, or would but i dont really care. midway to the movie i thought that this is the first movie i considered walking out on. if i went alone and was more angry id be out of there genuinely and i would miss Nothing. so you know what, this was a 10/10 movie to watch while needing to piss, cause you can just leave to piss and come back and you would miss nothing.

p s i had like a little hope after watching the thunderbolts* cause that was like genuinely cute fun movie felt like watching the avengers again but fresh and it was like yeah, ill take this. not the best movie ever but enjoyable, smth i didnt have to take too seriously. so i thought maybe marvel can make some nice feelgood movies again. but looking back at other movies its like slop slop slop nothingburger bummer and idk if i care abt doomsday at all (i dont) but ill prob watch it if someone brings me to the cinema

microwaving aluminum specifically is known to cause arching, which can cause fires! (thick aluminum is fine, but thin aluminum like aluminum foil, and I assume the edge of an opened can is Not)

on top of that microwaving liquids can be dangerous as they get hot extremely quickly.
