Half-joking au idea based on that Inner Demons ask: someone lets Mei watch RWBY. And also she may decide to advertise her babies a bit more actively (I.E. by becoming a support hero). The world will never be the same.

Mei is locked out of the labs, and forced to stay in her room or Powerloader won't let her back in until next semester. So is browsing the Herotube to find something to pass the time. Finding a pre-quirk show, she watches it, and gets… ideas.

Recruiting Izuku Midoriya, Melissa Shield, and Tooru Hagakure was the easy part. No, we don't get into how she got to and from I-Island, Let it go. She begins equipping everyone with multi-phase weapons, whether they want them or not. Apparently, she also manages to replicate the various Dust rounds.

Coming back to the labs, Melissa and her are working to get Support Hero status, and Mei gets a few discussions about kidnapping, consent, and how disappointed Power Loader is. Power Loader also has to update the LIST.

That Mei and Melissa managed to make Tooru's equipment go invisible when she's holding them, and visible with the press of a button is impressive. THE INVISIBLE HEAT SEEKING MISSILES ARE ANOTHER MATTER!

After multiple teachers have new ulcer medication prescriptions filled, Nezu decides to drop the other shoe. Apparently, he reviewed the files, and decided the four of them are going to be trained as a new hero squad under his personal tutelage. No Aizawa, you can't quit.

Inner Demons AU:

Been a while since I brought up this AU.

I had a thought: Mei, upon hearing about Izuku and his Oni “Quirk” takes it upon herself to make Izuku a special support item, a high tech kanabō.

A kanabō is a type of Japanese war club, think a very large baseball bat either made of metal or wooden and covered with metal spikes or studs, traditionally associated with Oni.

Inner Demons

I think that would be a wonderful idea, might even have a 'nerf' mode for training, subduing enemies, and generally being a little gentler.

Little, in that if he still swings full strength, that foam bat is going to send someone through the lower Exosphere.

So it's got spiked, flaming, electrical, studded, foam, and double impact off the top of my head, any others you suggest folks?

Izuku makes an off hand comment about wanting more ranged options and Mei immediately gets to work making a version of the kanabō that’s also a fully functional gun.

(No one let Mei watch RWBY, she’d probably accidentally blow up Japan if she saw half the crazy weapons from that show.)
