this blog is just me learning on the job im gonna be honest,, i got into jason like a week ago ?? i’d never read a dc comic before that, i got recommended him bc i called batman a pussy on multiple occasions

maybe   having   jason   laid   down   on   top   of   the   table   (   shirtless   )   while   newt   is   about   to   literally   slice   off   a   piece   of   his   skin   is   not   the   best   time   for   this   conversation.   he   goes   on,   anyway.   “   OH,   YOU   KNOW,   JUST   –   DUNNO,   NOT   EVERYONE   I   TALK   TO   IS   SO   CHILL   WITH   LETTING   ME   DO   THIS   AND   –   AND   I   APPRECIATE   IT   A   FUCKTON,   REALLY,   I   DO   –   ”

gentle,   gloved   hand   rests   on   top   of   jason’s   shoulder,   pushes   it   down   into   the   table’s   surface   to   keep   it   steady.   newt   pulls   up   the   protective   mask   over   his   nose,   the   lab’s   white   lighting   reflecting   in   his   glasses.   “   BUT   I   WAS   JUST   WONDERING   IF   YOU   DID   THAT   WITH   OTHER   –   DOCTORS.   GOTHAM   IS   FULL   OF   ‘EM,   UH,   WANNABES.   ”   the   scalpel   grazes   against   the   other’s   skin.   “   DON’T   GET   ME   WRONG,   DUDE,   IT’S   YOUR   BODY   –   YOUR   RULES.   I   WAS   JUST.   CURIOUS,   IS   ALL.   ”

“  i mean , i’m doing this as a  friend  .  “  he spoke , looking up at him . he kept his lips pursed , more serious . it was hard to hold back entirely how amused he was , just watching newt ramble on and on about something that - from jason’s perspective - was not  that deep  . in reality , he figured that the scalpel would cut deeper than this whole situation . or , well , that’s what he’d let happen .

he let a laugh leave him - chuckle voiced from the depths of his throat as he stared up at the ceiling . tongue slipping from his mouth to lick other his lips before he swallowed down the rest of his amusement .  “  i don’t go letting just anyone  cut me up  , you know ?  “  he spoke , a little matter-of-factly .  “  not intentionally anyway .  ”

jason , over the time he and artemis had spent together , had learnt that she could perhaps  read him like a book  . she had taught him more about himself and his ever-growing list of issues every time they spoke practically - not that he was quick to  admit  any of them . all moments met with the same look he gave her that very moment , defeated eyes that didn’t quite meet her face and lips set into a line . jason stopped the conversation , or lack thereof - it was more mindless rambling as he focused on the video game on the screen .  ❛  dunno what you’re talking about , red .  ❜

but he was quick to carry on in a completely new direction . a less than distracting one really .  ❛  i feel like you just don’t  want  me to talk . and , that really breaks my heart ‘cause i’m happy to listen to you all the time . ❜

my good pals, i am in a predicament and need some help. so, obviously my chosen fc for jason is not white? alex landi is korean-italian. of course, i do want to use some comic icons to interact with others who use comic icons. however, i don’t know how to work with using icons of jason with no mask. if any poc has any recommendations then pls help me out ! the psd i use works for both white faceclaims and poc fc but obviously, i don’t want to do anything that can be deemed hurtful! so, if any poc has any advice then pls help <3

SHE’D CRASHED AT HIS PLACE,    the night before had been nothing but a blur.   a lot of partying,   drinking,   steph felt like she was a teenager all over again.   it had been nice to reconnect with jason,    she’d missed him.   they both had a lot of   p a i n   buried deep within them,    so a night of letting loose sure felt good.    however,   waking up with a wicked headache was not pleasant.    a groan escapes from plump lips,   before calling out to jay who had crashed on the sofa.    ‘todd,  where’s the advil??’

nothing but a groan escaped jason at first , body rolling over to face the back of the couch - face hidden against the coolest part he could find . eventually , hands perched on top of it , lifting himself up to peek over the top of it before arms fell lazily over .  “  bathroom . cupboard . bottom shelf .  ”  words muffled by his face stuffed against the couch but he figured the message got across regardless .  jason liked going out  , liked having fun - who didn’t ? what he didn’t like was the hell of a hangover he received the next day . he cursed his  lightweight  ways every single time , yet it never stopped him .
