I feel like the DC fandom doesn't really appreciate what a character the Joker is. Like you could ask fifty people to describe him to you and get fifty vastly different Jokers back. And they're all somewhat accurate. So many interpretations!

I dunno why but having a character who is so gleefully insane and impossible to pin down or interpret from a character perspective while still being a really effective villain is super impressive to me. Especially with all the ways he's been written over the years. Not a lot of characters out there with that range.
